"One of the best hotels with the most accommodating staff. They always show love to my dog, which I appreciate tremendously! Even give out dog goodie bags and treats! All the rooms are cozy and extremely clean! 10/10 would recommend"
"The perfect stay for dog friendly fun, walkable to all things HR, pleasant views of the river & town and an incredible brunch spot at Broder Øst. The hotel is historic which means the building has a bit of creaking and steam radiators but that didn’t disturb us much. Saturday evening had live music in the lobby and wine served from reception."
"Trapped by the freezing rain and 84 being closed and unexpectedly found ourselves at the hood river hotel. Incredibly charming and accommodating. Great staff, including the cutie pie Opal (a dog) at the front desk. Love all art in the hallways and the home comforts of the room. Highly recommend."
"Obsessed with this historic gem! Perfect location, wood burning fireplace in the lobby, old school style elevator which was awesome. Rooms are updated with the historic theme still in place. Adorable bathroom with a super tall skylight. Water was hot hot. Rooms were surprisingly quiet considering the building. Big windows, super friendly receptionist. And pet friendly! The list goes on and on. I love this place!"
"Very charming hotel. The lobby is warm and friendly with the fireplace going and local apples in baskets to help yourself. The room was beautiful lots of color and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was oddly placed and had a big step up to get in and leaving proved to be a little precarious in order to remember to step down. There’s still room in the bathrooms to place your toiletries. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms but that is available in the lobby. Coffee is also there. A lot of noise outside at night with people partying. But they do provide earplugs. Really friendly staff were very helpful. The town is full of old buildings and very cute. The Swedish restaurant in the hotel is open for breakfast and lunch and is very good. The price of rooms is high. $100 overpriced in my opinion. But it is a tourist town so they have no problem getting it. We enjoyed our stay."
