"Enjoyed my stay at George View while hiking the nearby waterfalls, wish I had stayed longer than one night. The house is in quiet residential area but easy walk to central shopping (i.e. touristy) area. I booked the "blue room" (only two rooms, green and blue) with a nice and serene view of Columbia Gorge and Mt. Adams out my window. More chairs facing the Gorge on front porch to relax in. Hosts were just great: friendly, accommodating, and wealth of local info. Will repeat if back in the area."
