"Best place ever! Pool is perfectly warm for my kiddos. Child watch ladies know my kids names and are super engaging-reading & coloring with them. I appreciate the break to take care of myself!"
"The pool is wonderful and I'm happy it's open at 5:00 a.m. sometimes it's a little bit too cold.I went Saturday for a party that our group rented the community room for 2 hours. It was really nice. It's nice that this is available to the public!"
"Last week, me and my 6 year daughter visited at ymca. I had a terrible experience. My daughter kept getting yelled at by a lifeguard name Teagan when my daughter was so clearly not doing anything wrong! She also kept giving me and my daughter looks for our race and kept racially violating us. My daughter and I had to leave with a terrible time. WILL NEVET RETURN TO YMCA!!! My daughter has been completely traumatized from this experience. I wish I could put a 0 star review but that is not possible. I had a 100% terrible experience. Never come to this place unless you want to get violated BY THEIR LIFEGAURDS!!!"
"I was surprised how clean it was. The pools are great. The water massage chair seems inviting can't wait to use it. Martin at the counter it polite and efficient. I am going for low impact pool exercise. They offer all kind of classes. I wish my swimsuit hurries and gets here soon so I can start."
"Honest Review of My YMCA Trial Membership Dear YMCA Management, I recently had the opportunity to experience a trial membership at your facility, and I wanted to share my candid feedback before considering a paid membership. My experience encompassed various aspects of your services, and I believe it's essential to address both the positive and negative aspects I encountered. Firstly, the condition of the gym equipment and facilities left much to be desired. Many members, including myself, had concerns about the state of the gym. It felt like there had been periods of negligence, and simply painting over issues doesn't resolve the underlying problems. The lack of maintenance was evident in the sauna area as well. The sauna, in particular, was a disappointment. Numerous members commented on the unsatisfactory cleanliness of the floors and the overall poor maintenance of the sauna, which significantly diminished its purpose. I noticed that the wooden seating planks were in disrepair and broken, a clear sign of inadequate maintenance. Another concerning issue was the atmosphere within the sauna and locker rooms. Many members used the sauna for small talk and relaxation, which is entirely acceptable. However, some individuals displayed rude and disrespectful behavior towards others seeking a more meditative experience. Political conversations often veered into offensive territory, with inappropriate comments that made the environment uncomfortable. Regrettably, I experienced instances of toxic and hate speech within the YMCA locker rooms and sauna areas. This behavior reinforced the negative reputation of the region, and it's disheartening to see the YMCA associated with such conduct. It felt like the community spirit promoted in your monthly emails was a direct contradiction to what I experienced on-site. Lastly, when faced with any potential price increase or the end of my trial membership, I found it to be a relief to discontinue my visits to the YMCA. The issues I encountered, along with the negative atmosphere, outweighed the benefits of membership. In conclusion, I hope this feedback can help you address some of the concerns that many members, including myself, have encountered during our time at the YMCA. Improving the maintenance of facilities and fostering a more respectful and inclusive environment would greatly enhance the reputation of your organization. Thank you for considering my input, and I wish you success in making necessary improvements. Regards."
