"Pacific Community Park, nestled in Vancouver, Oregon, offers an expansive and versatile outdoor experience across its 100-acre space. This park is celebrated for its variety of amenities catering to visitors of all ages, making it an ideal destination for families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. With playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, and even a disc golf course, there's no shortage of activities. The park also features several picnic areas and trails for hiking, biking, and jogging, perfect for those looking to enjoy the outdoors or engage in physical activities. The natural beauty of the park is complemented by its ponds, home to ducks and other waterfowl, offering a serene setting for birdwatching."
"Decent park, we come for Dakota dog park. There is a lot of rvs and homeless activity on the street nearby that seems to be cleared out once a month or so. Apparently lots of break ins in the parking lots so be vigilant and keep any eye on your vehicle and loved ones. People who stand up for what's right can help the problems here. Just speak up and look out for one another. People also feel entitled to bring dogs here off leash outside of the fenced Dog park area. So be prepared for privileged dog owners disobeying the posted rules. Restrooms have a lot of graffiti and amenities are often vandalized here. This is why we struggle to have nice things here in Vancouver. Raise your children better please."
"Nice dog park that has been here for a long time. There was a, what I'm assuming was a city worker, there on this specific day. He said that they had gotten done a day early with trimming trees and what not. They seem to keep the whole dog park, skate park and surrounding areas clean and taken care of."
"The dog park and walking trails are great. Most of the time the dog owners are great but there is always a few who don't pay attention to their dogs or pick up after them. It gets muddy in the wet weather, and I don't let my dog share the water anymore - he's gotten sick twice from it. The homeless and drug issue is pretty recent and needs to go. Always in the bathroom doing drugs or scoping out cars. It's just not as safe as it used to be. The dog portion is decently maintained however, so we continue going and just stay vigilant and park in sight."
"I always passed by this park...it's a nice park. Kid friendly, dog friendly (in fenced area), softball field, skateboard area. There is even a community garden space to grow vegetables and things. I liked the flat pathway that's accessible to everyone and the education plots with ideas for your own yard. Very nice park to bring the family for a stroll, picnic or whatever."
