"We had a great Biometrics walk-in experience. Couple of things to keep in mind and you should be good - 1) First priority is given to folks that have an appointment for the same day/ slot. The security personnel at the main gate only checks for the date and time (and not the location) 2) once everyone with a same day appointment are in, they let the walk-in biometric candidates through . We got there at 745am, were let in by 8:10am and were out of the Center by 9am odd. Getting in there early is key! Carry your appointment confirmation (a hard copy is preferred, but pulling up the slot on the phone is okay too) even for a walk-in. Also carry your Biometric Instruction Letter in addition to other documents that you uploaded at the time of the visa application, and you'll be set!"

"For the data point, I had my Canada biometric appointment in California, but this Tukwila office allowed me to walk in (security allowed me at 7:45am) on the same day of the appointment. After doing a security check similar to the TSA check in the airport, I gave my fingerprints and returned back by 8:15 a.m."

"I went for biometrics on a later date from my initial appointment, they were extremely helpful, they told me to book a future appointment at any point and once booked, they told us to get the print out outside. When we came back, they told us that it’s their mistake to ask for print out as it is not necessary and they were apologetic that we need to go back and forth when it is not necessary and immediately took our fingerprints. The people working there are really empathetic and helpful. They shouldn’t even need to acknowledge their mistake and we wouldn’t have even known about it. But, they did and helped us through out the process. Thank you for all your service."
