"I trust Union Bay Garage completely. They are very competent, will do a very thorough inspection of a car you want to buy, and will do their utmost to keep your car running at a reasonable cost. They will tell you what might be needed down the road, but won't push you to do anything that is not strictly necessary. High integrity, high quality, high value. I just have to add this: We took a car in to Les Schwab to fix a slow leak in a tire. They did their usual good job, patched it up, no charge. But, they said, your rear brake pads are down to 3mm and should be replaced - estimated cost $700. I thought to myself - no way! Called up Jordan at Union Bay Garage. She said, that will be $320, and we can get you in early next week. When I brought it in today, I also mentioned that there was a musty smell in the car, so she said I could try changing the cabin filter (didn't even know there was one!). Also the rear window wipers were so bad they were getting stuck, so I asked them to change those also. Picked it up a few hours later - total bill $459. Still less than the initial estimate from Les Schwab (which apparently included some other new parts that were not actually needed), and the car now smells fresher, brakes properly, and has functioning rear window wipers. It is truly a shame that this level of service, honesty, good value and knowledge is so rare. But I am grateful to have the amazing and incredibly knowledgeable Jordan and the fabulous mechanics at Union Bay Garage nearby."

"I had an oil leak and took it to their shop to get it looked at. They charged me a diagnosis fee of around $250 and couldn't find what was wrong (or did not look). They told me they are seeing a lot of oil around my engine and they would just clean it up it should be fine since they don't see where the leak is. The person I was speaking with was also very dismissive of the issue like it wasn't their problem when I was paying them. I brought my car to a different repair shop and they found the issue right away. They fixed it and was a lot less expensive. I would not recommend bringing your car here."
"Union Bay Garage moved to Lake City a few years ago and I have been using them since they have been in Lake City. I have found them to be very honest, professional and their pricing is reasonable. When you call you will be dealing with Jordan. she is super helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Union Bay Garage."
"Business is business I get it, but showing little bit of loyalty to old customer is also very great-full to business and relation wise. Been doing service to this place for past 3 to four years, but last time was very strange unwelcoming moment I’ve ever had! Took a car to check up and told her (Jordan ) please don’t fix anything before checking with me . So she checked , did gave some time into it and issued me a bill with $111 for maybe less than 25 minutes check up, well I was like ok? No discount too fine! But came out with no solution to it also on top of that she even damaged the car MORE than before! Really? I could have taken these matter into long run, but chose not to because I’m more embarrassed to even argue with her about it since knowing and being customer for very long time. Hope you guys understand after issuing a fat bill for doing nothing and that makes y’all feel did a job ?"
