"The gentleman that owns Rockwood Shoe Repair is not only one of the nicest people I've ever met, but he does some amazing work! I bring him all my shoes when they get dirty and he gets them spotlessly clean every time and even applies water proofing. I had another set of shoes that I really liked and the soles ran out of life, he put a new set of soles on the shoes and BAM, good as new. If you need some shoe or boot help, this is definitely the place to go!"

"Excellent work and great service! Super friendly and had good advice to give. I took 3 pairs of boots and one pair of dress shoes for new heels and traction. I'm unusually rough on boots and he recommended I fix the nicest pair and just replace the other two, it was great advice and now I have a newer pair of boots to compliment my nice dress boots that he fixed the heels on perfectly. The shoes I brought are handmade johnston murphy's and are really old and had worn through the leather sole completely. He was able to patch the hole, apply an ultra thin rubber grip sole and replaced the heels with new pieces. I've worn both pairs of repaired footwear to work for the full day, walking inside and out, in the rain and pushing/pulling heavy loads around. They held up perfectly so far and it's awesome to have my favorite shoes again! I was even able to request the traction sole in RED, not super important aspect, but nice to have the option!"
