"New store policy will no longer have me shopping. Tried to enter and once inside the two people visable were conversing, holding me in a corral, when i asked to enter they said it would be a bit. Nobody was coming in or out. Im closterfobic and don’t like being held against my will. They just sat there and made small talk, 3 minutes passed I left. They may have problems with theft, however acusting everyone as a theif before they get into the store is unreasonable. I lived in north portland my whole life, this isn’t the USA i grew up in."

"I don't always find exactly what I'm looking for but I always find something cool. This is my favorite place to spend my stash on the rare occasion I buy stuff for myself. I called ahead tonight to ask a question. Betsy was a joy and very helpful. I had the exact same experience in-store from the floor people to my cashier and even security at the door. Seriously, the nicest staff! P.S. Freyja loves her new sweater and ball she got today."

"Not a bad little store, actually. Hayden Island has it's problems, but they seem to do a fair job with security and have done a great job replenishing inventory since COVID has eased up!"

"This place is in a nice convenient location, lots of parking, close to other shopping places and next to the freeway. The only problem is, management sucks and they don't follow hours posted. Their hours on the doors say 9:30 PM but they close a lot early around 9PM. I arrived here a couple of times right after 9 pm and closed both times around 9pm. I knocked at the door for a few minutes, they saw me and ignored me. I usually know what I want and go straight for that item and leave. If they close at 9, then the hours on their door should reflect that so people can plan. The store manager here definitely needs fired. 2nd time around, I wasn't alone. The person next to me went back to their car all raged because they drove a few miles and wasted gas. They mentioned, they were trying to avoid traffic. I don't think I'll be coming back to this location ever again and I'll make sure none of my friends do."

"Went for some clothes but it appeared they were doing an inventory change. Not a lot to choose from. Memorable moment when the security guard actually came and helped with some selections. Even bought a shirt he recommended. All the staff were helpful even tho busy"
