"I know its MLK day, and busy, but tried to go online to make an appointment like website said to do. Couldn't do it, wouldn't work, so as I was at Home Depot just walked in to see if I could get in line. The sign said 45 minute wait, this was around 2 PM Fine..... multiple people in the waiting area, 2 stylist's cutting hair. One at the front desk. Ahead of me, was an older woman, with her companion who was in a wheelchair. A veteran, noting his attire. The young gal at the counter told the woman, "Well, you have to make an appointment on line." which the older woman replied that she had. The young one, basically rolled her eyes, "Can I see your phone" the customer handed it her, "Well, you have to enter customer name", "I don't have your reservation." Etc etc. Very condensending in front of others in my opinion. At that point I backed out of salon and left. I should have stuck up for the woman. Shame on me. But shame on Great Clips for being so difficult/rude. The poor woman had gone through all the steps to set up an appointment, and was embarrassed. (Didnt stick around to see the final outcome, too pissed) And the fact that on this cold day, bringing her companion (in a wheelchair as well) in for a simple haircut, to have to go through that from the very rude young woman from Great Clips, is beyond me. Have gone to you in the past, but no more after today's show."

"I have had my haircut here for about 5 years now and it is the only place I’ll go for a quick and friendly haircut. Vanessa really makes your haircut something to look forward to and is always friendly and social. I highly recommend Vanessa if you want to get a great haircut and make a great friend at the same time."

"Just terrible! Went in for a hair cut today, lady said she had been cutting hair for 8 years. YEAH RIGHT!! This lady butchered my hair, she washed my hair and after told me she was gonna just do a little free cut to get to the length I want…she then proceeds to grab all my hair in one hand AND CLIPPERS IN THE OTHER and just start buzzing my hair off. I was in shock and didn’t know what to do…my hair is now short up top bowl cut shape with long strands missed with the underneath of my hair longer than the top. I know this is just great clips… but saying you have 8 years experience and then DO THIS is just unreal."

"I had bad customer service experience at Great Clips (1350 Mavin Road NE, Lacey, WA) with Hannah. Please excuse me if that name is spelled incorrectly. I called Great Clips to report the incident and requested a follow up call with the location owner. No follow up was ever made. My experience with other employees had been favorable up until this point. After years of going to this store, I now go to K's Family Barber which is only 1.5 miles away. They provide additional service at 30% less expense, and I have been able to walk right in with no wait. I am subtracting a star for Hannah's lack of professionalism, another for the lack of response from the company, and an additional for the lack of value (higher price and less service). I'll leave one for the quality of the other employees, and one for the quality of haircut I got there for years."
