"Best Alfredo Fettuccine with chicken I've ever had. The pizza I had was amazing as well. The servers and bartender are very friendly and helpful, and service is very fast. My only tiny issues are that the shrimp in the gnocchi dish lacked any flavor and the $17 price of the Arancini was a bit excessive. The description said they were risotto balls (you get 2) with sausage but I didn't see any meat in them, although they were delicious."

"First-time visitor. Enjoyed the overall experience and will go back. Service was great, and food was served quickly even though it was crowded. My wife had the chicken parmesan. She ordered it on top of arugula rather than the pasta. She gave it a thumbs up but feels she has had better. I had the sausage and mamas pie. I enjoyed the thin and loght crust and the overall flavor mix of the peppers and sausage. It's easily big enough for 2 or more people. We had the boccancini. Was ok but would have preferred more balsamic glaze. Tirimisu with the cold brew was interesting. We ate the whole thing, but I would probably pass next time. The menu has a lot of interesting dishes, so I'm looking forward to trying another item next time."

"Finally got a chance to try Nostra Tavola. We made reservations and were seated immediately. The girl who seated us had little to say or smile about, so we had to break the ice. Our waiter soon arrived and took our drink and calamari appetizer order. Both arrived promptly. For the calamari, it was literally 5 minutes...a good sign? Turns out it wasn't too bad, just not great. Overly breaded and unseasoned. Drinks were very good. Probably the highlight of the experience. Wife ordered the linguine and I had the flat iron steak. Ordered the steak because it's one of the ultimate tests of just how well they prepare dishes or source their ingredients. It was cooked medium rare, just like I asked, but it was not as flavorful as I expected. A really good SRF or equivalent flat iron will blow your socks off, this did not, and for the price, was not a great value. The linguine was cooked perfectly and had great texture, but it seems like they only used the fatty portion of the pancetta. It was all gristle and fat with very little meat. Our server was ok, but could have shared more about the offerings and dishes. Not much in the way of atmosphere and the place seemed too busy to be really cozy. Drinks great, food so so, and staff scrambling. Maybe give it some time to iron out the kinks. It is the only place like it in the area, so not surprised at how busy it gets. There are many other Italian places in Vancouver that have better food and customer experience, though."

"I'm so very happy to have stumbled across this fantastic new restaurant! Authentic modern Italian. Perfectly cooked al dente pasta. Flavorful pizza with crisp crust. Like being in Rome! Comfortable seating, great music. Upscale but not stuffy. Sorry I didn't take photos before starting to eat! Next time. Great place to take a date or meet a friend. Don't be put off by the strip mall location. It's lovely from start to finish."
