"Year ago, I gave these guys a five star rating. It was not only a fun and friendly place to go, but the food was amazing! Tonight, however, this was not the case. A man who does not even work there, kept going behind the counter and harassing employees. From the moment I stepped in, he glared at me and my child. We were there an hour before closing. This is not unreasonable. Tonight was extremely unprofessional and downright rude. I would file a complaint with a manager, but I’m pretty sure the man was the female managers boyfriend."
"Ordered half general half Hawaiin. So good. Crust was perfect. Plenty of toppings. Service was great and very fast for a Saturday. I don't know what is different about their cheese, but it has great flavor. Relaxed atmosphere. My family will order here again."
"I went in to order a pizza, and a soft drink to go. A small/medium? fountain Pepsi, and a large 3 topping pizza was $43 before tip. The person taking my order seemed unsure about how to place the order, and how long it might take untill I could pick up my pizza. I figured they might be new to the restaurant. 20min later, I picked up the pizza, and a server lifted the lid so I could see, but I was just hungry and in a hurry to get it home to the family and it didn't even register that 2 of the 3 toppings were not what I ordered and the crust was still a bit doughy, not a crispy or fully cooked crust as usual. No diners inside the restaurant at the time I placed my order or picked up. I've been coming to both blind onion locations for years, they have a delicious menu and consistently good food. This time, I definitely spent too much for a dinner the fam won't eat it all because the toppings we got are not what they like. I live 35 min away so I couldnt just run it back to the store. After a tip (added before food is made) I spent around $50. I can't see myself spending that again for a pizza unfortunately."
"This pizza is ground breaking. Some of the best I've had of this style ever. The crust was perfectly crusty. The cheese was perfectly cheesy. Everything I hoped it would be was there! The staff felt like family and the music reminded me of a dive bar. My preference is Detroit style pizza but this place made the best pizza of another type I've ever had."
"Angry Blind Onion Guy We want to alert everyone to be careful when parking near Walgreens in Orchards after you pick up your prescription at the drive through. My wife did just that around noon yesterday (9/28/2023) and pulled forward of the drive through being careful not to block anyone. She stopped momentarily next to the parking strip to the right, facing north, to send a text message. No one was around her at the time except a parked red pickup truck to her right. She then heard a car horn honk so she looked in her rearview mirror thinking that she might have not pulled forward enough for someone to pass on the left. She then noticed another red pickup truck now sitting parallel to her vehicle on the left facing the other direction to the south. He angrily told her to move her car because she was double parked and blocking his parking place. She asked if there wasn’t somewhere else that he could park as there were plenty of other parking spots, most of them closer to Blind Onion. He angrily claimed that the spot next to the other red pickup truck was his and he owned the parking lot so she needed to move her car and stop playing on her phone. My wife noticed that there wasn’t a personalized parking place marked for anyone in the parking spot in question. But she proceed to move forward so that he could have “his” parking spot. The man parked and got out of the truck. He was carrying a pizza carrier and wore a Blind Onion Pizza shirt. As he walked to the Blind Onion Pizza, he angrily accused my wife of being drunk and needing to stop playing on her phone. Needless to say, we’ll not go to Blind Onion Pizza in Orchards and possibly all other locations to avoid another ugly encounter with the Angry Blind Onion Guy. And definitely avoid delivery from them because it could be the Angry Blind Onion Guy! This is truly unfortunate as we love their pizza."
