"Terrible experience, terrible customer service. I left my car at 9:20 AM, and the agent assured me that the maintenance would take 6-7 hours, pledging to have my car ready by 4:00 PM. To my dismay, when I called at 3:45 PM to inquire about the status, I was informed they don’t have time to check my car and requested me to return the next day."
"I can't say enough good things about Ryan Anderson - service mgr- he was off the hook over and above what I could imagine in delving into my 'difficult to diagnose' car issues...He kept at it until his mechanics figured it out! unfortunately he did such a great job with all his customers that he was promoted to run the service department in Marysville! Darn for those of us that were used to his help. the service dept. is still good - though I can't give it the over the top rating I did before. He went over and above to help. I got spoiled and I'm still going through withdrawal :) People are friendly and it's great to have a loaner car or have a driver pick you up. I will continue to bring my car there."
"Mary was amazing to work with! She was incredibly knowledgeable, relatable, worked with speed, and was incredibly kind! 10/10 would buy another car from her!"
"This was my first time taking my vehicle here. They insisted I have my car towed in due to overheating issues and upon running a $200 initial inspection, they charged another $200 to replace a radiator cap and bleed the coolant line. After it was "fixed" I drove to Redmond and the car immediately overheated once again. Not only did they charge me for this second tow, but recommended a full engine tear town to further analyze this problem. At this point I decided to take my car elsewhere having little confidence in the work or recommendations coming from Carter Subaru of Shoreline. The second shop I took it to immediately ran diagnostics to confirm that the head gaskets had failed (lots of hydrocarbons in the coolant - which Carter Subaru reported they had found none). I have been trying to get someone on the phone at this establishment to reconcile the fact that I have paid $840 between tows and "service" to still have a non-functioning car. I don't normally post reviews, but the last straw was the way this was handled by a "Brittany" or "Bethany" or someone in their service shop. She made excuses as to why the manager could not seem to return a call after two days and said he had upcoming training meetings today at 1:00. I pointed out it was only 12:30 which apparently put her over the line - "your crossness is not appreciated" and "she would not be spoken to that way" - as she gave me literally no opportunity to chime in whatsoever during her litany of excuses and then HUNG UP ON ME. *Edit: the service manager did eventually call back and took care of the extra tow charge and other things. For this resolution I'm changing the review from 1 star to 2."
"Carter Subaru sales team is wonderful, always a painless process to purchase a car there. Sasha is my personal go to rep. Subaru service is another story and I wish I could say otherwise… Communication is just not there, if you state a customer car will be serviced for X amount of hours and you go over, at least keep them updated with the status of their car every hour or so the time goes over the original service time. When they ask if you are staying or leaving for your service appointment, just say you are staying no matter what you plan on doing because they do prioritize the people staying and waiting compared to those who leave the dealership. Regardless of what they choose, the vehicle should be finished by the original talked about time and at the very least be updated accordingly. Not left out and be on stand by for 7 HOURS. dropped at 920am left @ 4pm~"
