"Good service like this is becoming increasingly harder to find in the US. I needed a tow and called AAA. Because I was on a country road with no house numbers, I had difficulty explaining my location to the AAA representative. I hung up and called Hood View Services ("local" tow company, relative to my location). Danielle knew exactly where I was located and contacted AAA on my behalf--and with me, Danielle, and the AAA rep. in a conference call, my request for roadside service was processed immediately. Jeremy arrived within 20 minutes and loaded my vehicle professionally and *cheerfully* (his positive attitude was greatly appreciated under the circumstances). He drove me to the shop where we dropped off the car, and seeing that I had no way to get home, he offered to drive me back home (NOTE: the breakdown, tow, and ride home were all relatively "local," so I'm not saying you can expect this kind of chauffeur service). In any case, what could have been a really bad day turned out to be a minor inconvenience, thanks to Jeremy and Danielle. These people are solid--I heartily recommend them."

"Update. I was going to delete this review after a month given the owner stated that they "would educate their driver on his role in the road." I cannot in good conscience do that as there is a more recent complaint of the same behavior. I am still hopeful and will continue to monitor these reviews so I may not negatively effect a local business that is doing good. September: One of their drivers exceeds the speed limit and insists all drivers get out of their way as though they are an emergency vehicle. By Oregon law tow trucks are not emergency responders for a few reasons. This company is a danger to their community and doesn't respect other drivers. I am shocked that this attitude continues after speaking with their dispatcher and the State Police."

"I am absolutely in awe of this company and all of its associates. We had a flat tire coming from Portland to Dufur. Our driver was JT, and he was so polite and caring! We waited for 3 hours after calling AAA and the original person from AAA we spoke too had us at the wrong location. JT called us and took the time to figure out where exactly where we were and even got my Honda up a road most trucks refuse. I am so thankful for this experience and how amazing he was! His associate even helped my mom on the side of the road the day before with a flat tire! This is the best experience I've ever had with this kind of situation and I know it will continue with anyone that uses this company. Also, just a friendly reminder - PLEASE BE KIND to anyone who helps you, regardless of if they are paid to do so or not. Many people forget how far kindness goes these days and they take it out on others who are only trying to help. Highly recommend this company to anyone needing any of their services. "My friends alternator died in The Dalles on a Sunday afternoon so we called AAA and got connected with Jeremy not long after. He arrived and had us on the road in 30 minutes (and apologized for the wait!). Really enjoyed chatting with him on the ride back to Portland. 10/10 would break down again."

"Hood View Services is definitely recommended by us! We got stranded by I84 on a Saturday night ! I definitely thought we weren't going to get any tow truck until the next day, we called AAA and were told they had Hood View Services available. We have had other companies cancel on us and tell us we would have to wait next day because it would be after work hours when they got to us. Well this company had no problem with the time it was. Jordan was there in a very timely manner and was super friendly! Now I just feel awful that it's midnight and he still has to drive a couple hours to get back home! Thank you Jordan!"
