"Walked in on a slow day and saw several employees just standing around by the front, talking. Clothes and shoes are in the wrong spots throughout the store. If I wasn’t trying to cheer someone up with a quick gift, I would have left without spending a dollar. Spent 30mins digging through boxes of shoes, trying to find the ones on display, and after 25mins, no one offered to help. On my way back to the register, saw things of interest that were in the wrong location, and/or missing tags… or in the wrong section. Got to the front and three employees and the security guard are still just talking. The guy asks if I found everything, and I was not really, this place is a mess. Apparently, he already knew, or didn’t care, becatse he didn’t ask for clarification, as I paid full retail for the third best item I wanted to buy. No pride."
"Weird hostile vibes in this place. Had an employee following me around asking what I was looking for and watching me while I shopped. When I got the stuff I was looking for and headed to the register I heard him radio up to the front that I was on my way up there. The employees all stacked up around the door after I checked out like they were ready to pounce. Spending my money elsewhere from now on. If you do go in there, don't sneeze or make any sudden movements. They're a little jumpy."
"My kids favorite store. This specific location is very close to homeless hub, so not feeling very safe to be there and park my car. Overall good, clean store. Friendly service. I wish cashiers are trained well to handle cash, I got $5 less in change. Did not want to come back to dispute it, since I realized it way away from the store."
"Wow. The team is friendly, polite, well managed. The store layout is clean well-lit, extra spacious and permits riding bikes on interior track. Wish our whole world were being run with this much thoughtfulness and precision. Love that each employee's badge share's their passion. Did not price check, even though a careful shopper. The value and service was there, including follow-up service final bike setup the next day. Look out Amazon. Local so much better in this case. And the compact product itself suits well, after swapping for larger quick release seat. Serendipity I beat the early black Friday crowd with an already assembled product brought back next day for final safety setup and helpful bike tips. Cute little easily storable bike for the money and service. Five stars to mgmt and employees. Good business model. Postscript: Not related to any employee."
"Deceitful pricing. This store has repeatedly charged me more at the register than the product is listed for on the shelf. In one case it was about $10 more for a pair of shoes, another time $5 more for some earplugs. I pointed this out to the cashier who said "yes this happens all the time". This is clearly part of some corporate strategy to deceive their customers and overcharge people, and should be illegal."
