"Stopped by after hiking. Great beer selection, friendly staff. I had the corned beef and cabbage, usually my go to in Irish themed places like this. It was really good probably the best I’ve had. The food was served like 5 minutes after I ordered it. So if you are like me and like a beer or two before eating, delay ordering because it doesn’t take long. Of course the place was empty when we walked in. My only complaint was beer is pricey, I was charged $17 for two 16oz glasses of the pale ale. Otherwise great place."

"We came on a recommendation, and this place over delivered. The staff was super friendly and appreciative of the patronage, even amongst a rush. I had a Bees knees and a Flora Dora, both cocktails were smooth and flavorful. For an app we had some lemon prawns, I'm sure they had a cooler name but as I mentioned, the two gin drinks... Anyways, these prawns were no joke. We struggled saving two to bring home to our son they were that good. Entrees were the steak pom fritters and the Irish sampler (pictured). The portions were ridiculous and the flavor profiles matched that same energy. Serious a hidden gem here in Shelton. OH! Don't even get me started on the blueberry chocolate chip bread pudding with white chocolate espresso ice cream. F*#k me, delicious. We'll be back. Often. Job well done to the staff by the way. Everyone on duty seemed to be hustlin with a smile and I love that."

"Next time I’m in Shelton I know my review will change to 5 stars. We visited the place on Tuesday evening (06/20) and experienced the nicest, friendliest and most helpful staff. Both of the waitresses, the bartender and obviously the kitchen staff working that evening were really busting their butts off to accommodate and feed every guest. We were informed the pub was unusually busy for a Tuesday so there might be some delays, especially when it came to drinks since there was only one bartender working. My drink came pretty late, but the waitress of course apologized and took it off the check. I have no idea what it looks like normally, but the place was incredibly full, and people were coming in every 10min checking if there was a table available for them. I am convinced the number of people, and therefore orders made the kitchen staff pretty overwhelmed and they must’ve been hurrying with preparing food because my burger (blue cheese burger with a vegan meat substitute) and bun were a bit burned. Fries also looked like they were sitting for a little bit before being served. Although taste wise everything was perfect. The ahi tuna salad was delicious, so was fish and chips. The slightly spicy sauce that comes with the fried onion was very good as well. As to drinks, we tried five of them and they were all so good. The cucumber mint one was my favorite. Additionally, I really love how vegetarian friendly this place is compared to all the other places I’ve been to in the area. Also, this is the first Irish pub I have seen that serves shepherds pie with a vegan meat substitute. Haven’t tried it this time, but I for sure will next time. Overall that was still a great experience despite my food not being perfect this time. You could see how busy everyone was, but they all still managed to be very friendly to all the quests and keep a smile on their faces. Yes, it might’ve taken some time for our order and drinks to make it to our table, but especially the waitresses made the wait so much more bearable you barely even realized you waited 10min longer than you probably should’ve. I will for sure visit this place again once I’m in town, and I’m sure it will be 5 stars that time around."

"Better than what i had in Ireland and second best fish and chips in all the US. Wonderful atmosphere great staff and more whiskey than i would have thought possible. Ruben was full.of big thick slices of delicious meat!! Home fries were on point and the tartar sauce was legit holy s#$t! Will be back"

"An absolutely delightful Irish pub in Shelton! The staff are very friendly and the food is fantastic! I love the decor as well - the door chandelier above the bar is really creative. The pub is also dog friendly!"
