"Racist, Awful horrible RUDE associate!( older WHITE woman pink hair glasses name was Heather) I come here cuz it’s close by my home and on my weekly errand run to the chase bank, stopped in did my shopping of essentials, everything is fine to check out, I stop at a closed register to get my money in my purse, stuff together so I can make the walk to the bus, I get out the door when HEATHER chases me out and asks “did you put something in your bag?” And tell her “uh yeh my money” she just says oh okay just checking and I work retail you’re not supposed to chase people out your business and accuse them of stealing, like I’m not dress like a vagrant or suspect in anyway, but it was very clear I’m Native American so and a person of color so it very clear this was racsim at its finest! we go back and forth of the validity of her asking me this question so I ask her “okay what’s your name” and being humiliated, angry I head back in to ask for the manger cuz I’m not taking that laying down, Heather proceeds to say “I can ask I can ask” I tell her it’s a form of discrimination she can’t be asking every person of color if they’re stealing to which she responds “oh your playing the race card? Lady you need to do something better with your time” i waited and had to ask a second time for the manager and Heather says “your being rude and told me to leave” which I wasn’t until I spoke to someone. FINALLY I speak to the manager Rebecca I get the spiel “oh well retrain here I’ll talk to her, then oh it’s because another employee was attack recently” Which if that’s the case WHY are they allowing other employees to run after people and put more people in danger, Heather had yelled at another person who actually was stealing while I was in there as well and I’m not stranger how many homeless come in while I’m shopping, I take a moment outside the store come back cuz at this point I don’t want my 35$ in this store I go back ask for a refund and was told they don’t give refunds, I believe after that awful scene I should have gotten my money back I no longer feel comfortable coming to this location until this Heather person is gone! Called corporate and emailed! Get rid of her!"

"Only one star to get the review on here. Had an issue with the card reader, merchandise was 3.75. Cashier made a big stink. Rather than move to the next customer, she insisted on holding up the line and staring at me while I tried to pull up my card info on phone, so I could pay. When I said it was a reader issue she insisted it was lack of funds and tried humiliation as her tactic. I definitely had more than 3.75 in my account.I understand that these cashiers go through a lot, but this treatment seemed a little aggressive and rude. When I said you're being rude I was told I was the rude one and was told to get out. Then she moved on to the next person, like I had asked her to do before. There is no need to treat anyone in this manner over a simple glitch. I will never return to that store again. It's a shame really because I've been going to this location for years."

"The floor plan looks like it would be a nightmare for a store layout, somehow they use the space amazingly well. The layout of products is perfectly in order without a mix in product type when going from food items to paper products and on food items. Makes it a lot easier to find things which I love."

"This Dollar Tree actually has a variety of quality merchandise, however, the manager (middle aged woman with below shoulder length brown hair) was so rude it really ruined my shopping experience. Instead of coming up to me like an adult (and like a manager SHOULD) and telling me that they didn't allow photography in the store, she instead got on the overhead speaker angrily calling for security to watch the isle I was in (I was the only one in the aisle so it was obvious she was angrily watching me take pictures of the merchandise.) So I walked up to her and said "I'm taking pictures for Google Maps, some of the pictures I took of a Dollar Tree in Eugene have over 35,000 views, basically it's free advertising for you" to which she rudely snapped "we have advertising!" Anyhow, this woman shouldn't be working with customers, let alone be a manager! But here's the pictures I took before I spoke with the customer service challenged manager."
