"Hannah at Weddings With Joy was a pure delight to work with. I appreciated that she was so supportive and helpful but also went off the way the bride looked at herself after trying on a dress. It was very magical being able to be surrounded by pure magic in this store of beautifully curated dresses and it was so hard to pick one when they had so many beautiful styles. However once I found my dress at the end it was a no brainer and being in the hands of Hannah, my mom, aunt, and friends was a beautiful experience. "I first came to Weddings with Joy with my maid and matron of honor just before Christmas 2022. Making the appointment was easy, and the staff were very understanding that we were challenged by work schedules and snowy road conditions to get there. Everyone I met from that initial consult, pick up, and later bringing my dress back to be sent for cleaning/preserving were wonderful. I felt the consultation was supportive and they listened to my friends’ and my thoughts and suggestions to expertly pick styles that met our desires. The timelines were as they quoted: I selected and ordered my dress at the end of December, it arrived in shop early May, I returned my dress for preservation in September and it was shipped to me within 2-3 weeks. The preservation discount around the holidays was a nice perk because I hadn’t thought about wanting that. The only downsides: my own ignorance of not understanding how/if tips are expected as part of the consultation service so I tipped by percentage of the dress cost like restaurant service so I would have appreciated someone explaining that; the staff follow up a bit more than I’d like asking if I might have changed my mind and want accessories; they do not do any tailoring or final touches like steaming, they had recommendations in the area but some were out of date and not available when I tried to contact. Otherwise this is a wonderful little shop and I highly recommend them!"

"Kristin was so welcoming from the moment I walked in and she knew exactly what I was looking for and the vision I had. She helped prop my sister up on a phone stand so she could watch from out of town and it felt so special. She was extremely helpful with putting dresses on and helping me get out of them. She made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. I never felt rushed and she didn't pressure me into loving a dress, it happened naturally and we had such an amazing time and some good laughs. I will never forget this day."

The dress fit my body perfectly accept in a couple places and they had a seamstress right down the road who was willing to rush my order.
