"I’m not the target audience for this kind of boutique but I frequent the other stores on this street and want to give the shop owner 5 stars because I am genuinely impressed by her/their work ethic. This boutique has been going strong and showing up every day even through 2020/2021 Covid, getting creative with how to let customers shop safely and with distance, even offering a protective barrier where customers could point at items they wanted to look at safely. I’ve seen her open consistently and not let adverse situations affect her from what I can observe. That alone I feel is worth supporting! I was going to say this in person but figured a nice review would be better."

"I've been shopping here for years! This is easily my favorite boutique in Portland. The clothing is best described as classic with a twist. Unique-but-not-weird pieces. The clothes are well-made (a lot in the USA) and I've had several items from this store for years. And the owner is a gem!"

"This review should be a 5 star. I have purchased a number of things at both Zahara Boutiques. I love the styles, everything is a pretty good value and the sales associates are always friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, when I brought two sweaters to the counter today during the 20% off sale, I was informed that everything was on sale except for those sweaters and a few other things. I had already been in on Friday and expressed interest in the same sweaters and asked the same sales associate when the sale was over. Today she knew I was trying them on (even helped me with the sizing and colors) and didn't say a word until I brought them to the register. She did give me 10% off. BUT come on, guys. It's not about the money. I can afford the extra $10. It's the lack of transparency and the surprise (and a bit of embarrassment) of finding this out when you are ready to buy. This should not be a mystery. I love you guys - but PLEASE."

"I bought two dresses here about 2 1/2 years ago, and I love them both so much I looked it up online to remember where it was located so that I can go back. One of them is a long-sleeved wrap dress that you can wash and hang up to dry, the other one is a short sleeveless yellow and blue dress with a cat print. My daughter wears that one and every time I see her wear it I make a note to go back and look for more. They were very reasonably priced, around $25-35 each, but it could have been during a sale, I'm not sure. Either way, I will be back ASAP!"
