"Went out to eat with my family. Hashbrowns were bland. Bacon was undercooked. My childs pancake was undercooked, and he wasn't able to eat. The server seemed confused and seemed liked she had not been trained properly. Overall, it was a bad time."
"Got the chicken fried steak, the bacon cheese burger, and the scrambler. All 15$+. The burger was flavorless and small. RR burgers are bigger and cheaper. The fries were overcooked and ketchup didn't save them. The scrambler was okbut the sausage patty was spicy and tasted frozen. The chicken fried steak was good and worth the cost. The "bisket" they come with is a massive home mode roll but is very very dry."
"Black Bear Diner is one of those places you can take the family and relax and enjoy the food, service and decor. While the food is on par with other breakfast chains, it does offer more in the way of the overall customer experience. Again, you'll get more out of it if you don't dine alone here. We had the eggs Benedict and the sweet waffle. Everything was cooked as expected and the Benedict had great hollandaise sauce. Ordered a side of sausage with the waffle and both were very good. My only gripe was packaged butter was provided and it was as hard as a rock. One of my pet peeves when I dine. Soft butter is not a big ask or expectation. Overall very good and the staff was very attentive and helpful."
"Food was really good. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Took off 1 Star because the bacon was good, but not amazing and the gravy to biscuit ratio was a bit off. Prices were a bit high, but that's made up for in their serving sizes. Overall I would come back though."
"We got here a little before 11:00am on a Sunday and got seated right away. They have a super large menu, mimosas, but no gluten free bread/toast. The ham steak was super delicious. The eggs Benedict was average, but overall everything we had was great. Also prices are great for the portions."
