"I want to give a huge thank you to Enrique who blessed us with free food when we got stuck on the side of the road due to the winter storm. All the restaurants & stores were closed. He was out there in the dark handing all the truckers a plate & a drink. The chicken burrito was very delicious & we will be stoping by again when we come again. Thank you Enrique god bless."

"Lake taco stood out during my time in Hood River for the kindness and friendliness of the staff. The food is very reasonably priced, especially for the quality and authenticity, and is on par with great Mexican food I've had in Mexico. I loved the atmosphere, and the selection. Next time I find myself in Hood River I'll be sure to add a stop here."

"Here’s the scoop: Homemade corn tortillas, very soft and fresh. Authentic! Lots of fresh shredded cabbage and the cream on the fish taco is good. The beer battered fish is fresh. Friendly service (husband and wife team?). Drinks are a choice if 4 Mexican mixed drinks:margarita, Paloma and a couple others. Also authentic. No beer, there are some bottled Mexican sodas. Downstairs is another business which sells local beer. But they have loud music which the sign tells you is cool, but it’s on the very alternative of the alternative side. If you sit out back it’s loud . Get a table on the front outdoor table area. Sunday menu is just tacos. They serve homemade potato chips, no tortilla chips. The red taco sauce is really good! Smoky. I’d stop here for quick tacos again if I was looking for tacos"

"Looked like a nice trendy place to hang out with drinks. I noticed service was slow based on someone walking up to the server to ask for the sprite and people waiting in line to pat. But, it was 6pm friday so I know things can get busy. I ordered the carne asada lakestop burrito. It came out Very very bland. Their salsa was good, but even adding that on top didnt help. I was told I shouldve tried adobo and it wouldve tasted better. Possibly, but all the ingredients in the burrito were bland so I doubt it. I wouldnt recommend this place for the $14 burrito"

"Great food, large potions, and some super awesome signs. The outdoor patio was also super colorful. The chips that came out before our meal were homemade potato chips and they were absolutely amazing and not what we expected at all!"
