La Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie

"I cannot recommend sitting upstairs. The downstairs has the atmosphere you want and what you’re paying for when you dine at La Provence. The upstairs reminded me of employers break rooms. The food was very good overall for everyone in the party. Service was fast and the server was kind and helpful. I’ve ordered the Monte Cristo for probably 30 years all over the country and I’ve never had one like this with tomatoes. Taste was okay and the raspberry jam was also just okay. If you’re a fan of the MC then you probably want to try it. I will not order this again here. The French onion soup was outstanding and I plan to order a bowl the next time I visit. The temperature could have been a little hotter, but it was just what I wanted on a cold and windy day."

"Fantastic option in the area with great emphasis on the theme of the cuisine. There are 3 seating area options that allow for different experiences. Parking lot allows for easy parking options. French toast is delicious and has authentic taste that a lot of other places cannot seem to easily re-create. Whipped Feta avocado is awesome. 2 improvements that are personal preference for me however are having the avocado be mashed already, and the toast is a bit tough to cut, but nothing that is a big deal"

"Tried some pastries first, they were so good that we came back the next day for lunch. The lunch was delicious, portions were slightly smaller than at other breakfast places but the quality made up for it. However, my French toast portion size was actually larger than I'm used to and was amazing! Everything has the right balance of sweet and savory. Even though they were busy, our order was taken and delivered to the table quickly. The texture, flavors, and overall quality of the pastries was beautiful as well."

"Excellent restaurant, definitely a must. They had so many amazing pastries and baked goods I wanted to try but didn’t save room. Croissants are delicious, my sister loved her French onion soup and Bloody Mary. My green drink and corned beef hash was also really delicious. Our server Jared was lovely. We really enjoyed him, he was an excellent server and salesmen. I appreciated his recommendations and attentiveness."

"We love this restaurant and have been several times. Today’s visit was underwhelming. We had no problem waiting the 40ish minutes to be seated, we were a party of 6 restaurant industry folks after all. But once seated, we waited 10-15 minutes for a server before we had to ask the host to find us a server. They said they’d send the manager over immediately but we never saw the manager. Once our server arrived, they didn’t apologize for the wait and very curtly took our order. Wait staff was kind but erratic and forgetful. Half our food arrived and the other half arrived more 10 minutes later. Restaurant was not overly busy or crowded. Food was delicious but not sure if it was an understaffed morning or just an off day for the team. Hopefully next time will be better."
