"Pretty good place, however know that if you call this place, they will not accept an animal from superior Wisconsin. Ended up having to bring a turtle with a broken shell to Roseville MN which I'm sure was stressful for the animal. There's gotta be a way to change this rule. First gal I talked to was friendly, second was slightly rude because I was trying to bring an animal from Wisconsin. Just trying to save a creatures life."
"Open every day 9am-4pm. Please call and leave a message before bringing the animal in, the staff will call you back to advise. Do not offer food or water to animal. Put in box with airholes and heating pad on half the box. Also towel or pillow case. Keep in warm quiet dark place."
"I brought in five ducklings who's mom didn't make it after being hit by a car. The staff at Wildwoods was so helpful. They do awesome work!"
"What these people do is amazing. My kids found an injured pigeon and no questions asked Wildwoods was willing to take it and gave us information on how to check on its progress. They even offer to let who found the injured animal to release it if it can be rehabilitated!! This is a great way for our young people to be involved and how important all creatures are."
"The girl working today was very rude!!! I asked for help and she told me to leash my dog in his fenced in kennel area for 2 weeks while the baby bunnies matured. When I asked if someone could come rescue them she said no she was working but I could bring the to her but a human scent could kill them (the mother won’t come back DUH!!) She also stated a laundry basket over the babies would protect them as it has worked for Great Danes. When I told her I had a Jack Russell and they are bred for hunting rabbits Amanda no other animals she stated that that wasn’t true. I told her those facts are true. Wild wood is a great program and I have used them before but this girl needs a little work in the customer service department and life"
