"New Owner is Respectful and Fair with pricing as well as good conversation. I avoided this place for years after bad encounter with original owner but you will find that the ambiance/ selection and character are all restored to what they should be thanks to Kerry the new owner of the shop."
"Was concerned about low ratings in the past but the new owner is good. I have gone there twice this month once with coins and once with Jewelry. Both times I went to several other places for quotes and both times he offered the highest amount"
"I visited Riverside Coin & Stamp today looking for world coins. I was welcomed by the owner who was very kind and helpful. No preasure, no rushing, just helpful kindness. The coins I bought were very reasonably priced. I will be back."
"I'm not sure where those other people writing before me went to, sounds like some competitors are upset that this shop is doing good honest business and cramping their style! I stopped in just over a week ago, right before the Long Beach event. I'm quite new in coins, only been collecting about 2 years now, and though the entire 2 years I have spent mostly immersing myself in educational aspects it seems the more I learn the more of a novice I realize that I am. I brought in some Franklin HalfDollars, some 40% Kennedy's and 1 90%, along with a few silver quarters and dimes, a few silver world coins, and a small 10k gold ring. I was helped within moments even though another gentleman was there looking over the inventory, and the man that helped me answered all of my questionsknowledgeable, but in a way that I, as a novice, could understand them quite easily. He looked over my items, identifying a couple ancients that I had brought as fakes and saving me from listing them as real on ebay which would have hurt me had they sold only to be returned. Offered me well above what I had hoped to get for the rest. I turned around and purchased an NGC graded 1948 US quarter MS67 for $105, and an ungraded 1941-S US Half Dollar that I fell in love with for $65 and received the difference in cash. Lastly I was able to purchase 20 rolls each of BU unsearched 1959-D and 1960 Lincoln cents at very very fair costs per roll! I will 100% return here!"
"I understand that a-lot of people have had a bad experience with the previous owner. HOWEVER i would encourage everyone to give this new owner a fair shake. My father bought several coins for a celebration for me and when I asked him the price. they were more than fair. I met Kerry at a coin show and he offered coins at a very competitive price. He is also very knowledgable and knows his craft. For those who are selling coins, understand that this is a business, they need to make money too. Regardless I know that Kerry would offer a competitive price if its in demand. Give this place a chance."
