"It’s a nice neighborhood shop and it looks like it’s been a part of the community for a while. It’s a great place If you want to support a local small mom and pop shop, that’s the only reason I chose to purchase anything but $5.50 over spot is crazy for generic silver its ridiculous. “The guy even had the nerve to say I didn’t charge you tax” well If that’s the case then it’s really $8 over spot for generic silver. It’s almost highway robbery for a coin shop to charge that much. If your looking for better pricing try a real gold and silver exchange with real live market competitive pricing typically $2.75 to $3.50 over spot price."

"So I was told by 3 different shops I wanted to go here..(best deal and or price). So I went . And before I had even gotten off of my bike in front of the store an elder man was at the door. So I asked him if he would be interested in looking at some old quarters I had found. "We are not interested thank you very much .... So my sweaty hot self said thank you and walked a couple of shops away. Where I got out my phone and called the shop... As I could hear another older man laughing at a remark that was made about the last visitor to the door. (Me) .. .. .and so I asked deeper in tone would it be worth it to have him take a look at some old old quarters I had found .. some pre-war and war time quarters , nickels , and dimes ... .. his statement was that he would give 15 times face value of the coins .. period . And rather curtly said any thing else he could do for me... No thank you was all I could reply... ...."

I was relatively new and was asking lots of questions they took the time to assist and lay out options giving a competitive prices.
