"Want to alert everyone not to do business at Leilani's Fashions and Jewelry at 1690 Story Rd, Suite 117-1 and 112, San Jose. AC. We took a gold chain for repair there. They offered to clean it without us asking, which we thought was a little strange. When we picked up the chain after 45 minutes, we immediately noticed the chain was much lighter than the one we had dropped off. They swapped out our chain.!!!. They cleaned it probably to be able to say that was the reason it looked different and so we would not pay attention to the weight of the chain. When we confronted them about it, the lady we dealt with, Rocio Guerrero and her Jeweler, Luis Sandoval insisted it was the one we dropped off but we knew it was not our chain - the chain had been in the family for 20+ years. It was the same design and shiny but it was much lighter (a lot less expensive than ours). They did not weigh it or test it when we dropped it off, they only weighed the one they gave us back. These people (Rocio and her jeweler, Luis Sandoval are committing fraud and it appears they are getting away with it!!!. Don't allow them to continue to do this to the community, who actually works hard for their money - don't t do business at Leilani's Fashions and Jewelry. If they manage to somehow find the gold chain I actually dropped off I would gladly apologize, our chain had sentimental value! If you can somehow find the gold chain I left behind, I would gladly apologize. Our chain had sentimental value!"
