"My husband and I had a great experience working with Vama for our wedding in October 2023!! As a bride, I knew I wanted to wear a traditional red outfit but had looked extensively online and hadn’t been able to find exactly what I was looking for. I saw a specific outfit on Vama’s IG stories and knew I wanted to try that outfit on. My husband and I traveled from OC to San Jose to see the outfit in person and browse around the shop. There were so many beautiful outfits to see, but as soon as I tried THE outfit on, I knew it was going to be my wedding outfit. Vaijayanti was so kind and patient with customizing my outfit to the exact shade of red I was looking for, helping us figure out the groom outfit, finding matching jewelry/accessories for both our outfits, and designing outfits for our entire wedding party of bridesmaids and groomsmen. Though we had a tight timeline of just two months until the wedding, she made sure all the products came in on time and looked fantastic. My mom and sister also got a few outfits from Vama for some of the wedding events, and everything looked great. I am so thankful to Vama and Vaijayanti for bringing my vision to life for our wedding! "Best bridal shop in the Bay Area!!! We had the most pleasant experience at VAMA designs. I came for the first time 8 months before my wedding to find my bridal lengha. It was so easy to get an appointment; I brought my entire family with me and we received a warm greeting as soon as we stepped in. VAMA designs has SO many beautiful options that are high quality & at a great price. We looked at lots of places in the bay and no one’s collection compared to VAMA. I only planned on getting one outfit but walked away with two because they were so amazing! Vaijayanti Aunty and her team were incredible to work with. As an out of town bride it was so easy to communicate with her from the East Coast. Based on her recommendation, I planned a trip back to the Bay Area to get my alterations done 2 months before my wedding. I showed up there day I flew in and I was shocked when she told me she could get me my outfit before I left 3 days later. The customer service, responsiveness, quality and quantity of outfits and price cannot be beat!!!"

"My wife and I have been searching for a place to purchase an outfit for an Indian Event we will be attending. It will be a formal event, so we need something very formal. We came across VAMA Designs Indian Bridal store. We were pleasantly surprised by this wonderful in house Boutique, which was located in the Evergreen area. It was such a nice atmosphere in the store, with very friendly staff that immediately helped us. I knew right away by the feel and look of the fabrics that this was made of the highest quality. There were so many different designs, mostly Bridal themes, but Vama did have designs for other formal occasions. I was pleased to find out, the actual designer and the owner, was Vama , and I was pleased to meet her. Vama, and her staff, gave us undivided attention, and were so patient with us searching for the right Lehenga & Kurta. When it came down to the pricing, it was affordable, in comparison to other stores we had visited. The best thing about this experience was that she was willing to work with us according to our budget. We will definitely be coming back, and we highly recommend VAMA DESIGNS for any and all Bridal occasions, as well as formal events ."

"I was debating between buying my wedding reception dress from India or locally in the Bay Area. I’m really glad I decided to go with VAMA Designs. Vaijayanti was very helpful and kind throughout the process- from the dress selection through customization and now as we work through final fittings. I’m 5’9 so she helped me get a longer dress and add a custom belt that fit my figure better! I founded her to be extremely responsive and able to work with my needs. I also love knowing that if I need any adjustments before my wedding (which is a few months away) I can go to her locally for help as she has an in-house tailor. Highly recommend to other brides!"
