"Actually the worst rental experience of my life. No warning about the driveway (which wasn’t even cleared off). States it is safe to park at the bear box and we did that, slid down the driveway and have been stuck for the last 2 days. The arrival sheet clearly states that cars with front wheel drive (we have front wheel drive) will be ok there, and the manager Nicole said it was our fault for going too far forward with a front wheel drive car..? The associate Rachel hung up on me when I asked for help and the manager Nicole laughed out loud at me when stating we are in need of help and she apparently thought that was hilarious and could not stop laughing. They have no contracts with any people/companies to help with towing or plow services and you are 100% on your own; they will provide ZERO help and laugh in your face."

"We had an amazing time!! The house is gorgeous and is so conveniently located. I loved the huge windows, views and very large open kitchen. There were some minor hiccups but nothing major. I loved that there were hiking trails steps from the house. There are a TON of stairs in this house so if you don't mind getting a workout, then you'll be fine! It's a beautifully designed house and we just loved our stay. I must add a note about the people at the rental office - they are the NICEST, most wonderful people!! When we had an issue with the water heater, they handled it immediately and there was a handyman at the door in about 10 minutes!!! Amazing! They went above and beyond, going to the house before our arrival to put the turkey I ordered in the house so the bears wouldn't get it. They truly saved our Thanksgiving!!!"

"You won't believe the view! From the description, we arrived expecting a house on a street in a development. What a surprise! The house is at the far end of a very long slope and sits in a prime position facing Lake Tahoe. We ate most of our meals on the deck and had trouble going on outings because we were so happy just to enjoy the view of the lake and the forest. The arrangement of bedrooms suited the three of us very well. One bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and three bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The well-outfitted kitchen and very comfortable living room have windows with views all around. We hope to return next spring or summer!"

"We purchased Tavern II #44, when it was new in 2002 and went to Reno and bought new Scandinavian Design furniture for the entire 1400 sq. ft. of the condo. The bedding was purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond and the kitchen furnished with Dansk kitchen ware. It was decorated with Tahoe Yacht Club Concours Wooden Boat posters and ski posters, including two Life Magazines from February 1960 Olympics at Squaw Valley. We enjoyed using it in the summer for 15 years and rented it to a ski family in the winter.Except for removing and moving around some of the posters, the condo looks just like we left it when sold in 2017.
