"This hotel was unbelievable! The whole hotel was immaculate. Every room was beautifully designed and everything felt very high quality. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. It made our trip very special. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made. If you're visiting Ferndale (which is an absolute must if you're in the area!), you have to stay here. By far the best place my fiancée and I have ever stayed."

"Wonderful! When we found out Ferndale and Eureka had these well kept Victorian B and B’s we knew where we would be staying when we visited the Redwoods. Ultimately we decided on the Gingerbread Mansion based on reviews, the safety of Ferndale, and the themed rooms. We stayed in the Veneta which boasted amazing mural paintings and nice views of the surroundings. The entire place was immaculately kept. The service provided by everyone who worked there was friendly and attentive. We were offered wine and snacks 4-6pm which was extremely pleasant. Breakfast was an elevated experience and Kelsey was great to chat with. Wish we had more time to enjoy the place, but the coast and redwoods were calling. Until next time."

"We visited end of May-early June 2023, literally just got home. The staff are so very sweet and focused on providing the "you're home" feeling. Other than no chores.. They altered and offered a diet specific offering for me. And I wasn't the Birthday person. From the owner all the way through the entire staff were a 10. We met some folks from Florida and So Cal. "A magical little place. Everything was so perfect! We loved our room, so cozy and everything we needed. The whole house was so cozy, fires blazing and perfect to curl up with a tea. The breakfast was amazing too! Great stopping point for the redwoods. We will definitely be back!"
