"The Benbow is a magical historic Inn tucked into the redwoods at the beginning of the Avenue of the Redwoods. The staff is attentive and gracious. The food is wonderful. The head chef that was there several years ago is back, so the food is amazing."

"Amazing, romantic location with historic rooms. The upper lobby is a great place to relax, have a drink, play cards, do a puzzle or read by the fire. Relaxing with a cup of coffee on the porch in the early morning was a favorite. Complimentary Scones and tea in the afternoon were warm and delicious. There are hiking trails thru the redwoods nearby but also just walking along the river or the trail that passes the Julia Morgan house is great. The food has always been good but the new chef, Cecil, has really made it spectacular."
