"Hour and a half wait time turned into nearly 5hrs from arrival to departure to get antibiotics for a staph infection. Took me to an exam room and forgot I was there AND had still failed to send my prescription out more than 24hrs after my appointment. Only reason it's not one star is because they're understaffed and we're apologetic but that doesn't make up for wasting my time. ALSO make sure to call per location for insurance. Just because it's an Exer locstion apparently doesn't mean they accept the same insurances as other Exer locations? Seems incredibly stupid to me. Edit: doctor and nurse neglected to tell me that drinking alcohol while on the antibiotic they gave me is extremely dangerous. Spent an entire day vomiting to the point of vomiting blood and unable to leave bed as a result. TELL YOUR PATIENTS ABOUT DRUG SAFETY PLEASE!"
"My recent visit to Urgent Care left me deeply dissatisfied with the level of service provided. Upon arrival, I expected prompt attention given the nature of urgent care facilities. However, I was left waiting in the waiting room for well over an hour without any acknowledgment or update from the staff. The lack of communication and prolonged wait time not only exacerbated my discomfort but also raised concerns about the effectiveness of the facility in managing patient flow and prioritizing urgent cases. It’s disheartening to see such disregard for patients’ time and well-being. Furthermore, the absence of any staff members attending to patients in the waiting room added to the frustration and sense of neglect. It’s imperative for healthcare providers to ensure that patients feel supported and cared for, especially during vulnerable moments. As someone who values efficient and compassionate healthcare services, my experience at Urgent Care fell far short of expectations. I urge the management to reevaluate their operational protocols, prioritize patient care, and implement measures to reduce wait times and improve overall service quality. Patients deserve better, and it’s crucial for urgent care facilities to uphold the standards of excellence that they advertise."
"I wish i can give zero stars. Urgent care means Urgent. Means I need a doctor fast. But here, there is no such thing as urgent. Your minimum wait time is 6 hours- and I came in on a good day. Receptionists are SO unprofessional, laughing and eating while people call and they just keep placing everyone on hold. There's like 5 rooms in the back, so when they finally call your name after HOURS, there's more waiting in the back room until the Doctor walks in a couple hours later. She was actually a nice doctor, but she'll examine you for 30 seconds and then you're done. It's all a huge waiting game. And after that, a huge bill is mailed to your address. Yes, provide your insurance information, but they will send you a bill. When I tried calling the office to figure out why, after being placed on hold for nearly an hour, the receptionist told me she didn't understand what billing means and that I should call their billing department. Great, another half day waiting on hold. There is nothing urgent about this place..."
"I've gone here for years and have always been pleased with the care received, the staff, and the facility. Due to my last visit, I've gone for the last time. I and my insurance was billed $1095 for a visit that took less than 5 minutes and received no care of any kind other than a referral to a dermatologist. I was floored and assumed there had to be an error. I made repeated calls asking for an itemized bill and finally received a correct after they admitted overcharging $295. The rest was a new "Global Fee" not covered by insurance. Absolutely ridiculous. Never ever again"
"This urgent care was very convenient. It was just right up the street from my house and they were very kind. It was clean. It was efficient. The doctor and the nurse for very kind and accommodating to mr!me and explained the Rx to me."
