"I recently learned that you can check the insurance coverage available by clicking "Check insurance information" on Google Maps. Not only this clinic, there are many clinics around here that either do not accept new patients or can only take reservations 2 to 3 months in advance, so if you have just moved, make sure to schedule a health check before you get sick. It may be a good idea to create an ID."
"I received a Japanese-style medical checkup from outside of CA. I think it was good in itself, but I was surprised at how the care I received after the results came out suddenly changed, as if the person had changed. No response to email inquiries, no response to phone messages left, no response after more than a week of repeated inquiries, but when I finally got through to them, they said, ``I can't do anything because you're out of state, so please try somewhere else.'' That's all. I understand that you can't do anything because you're out of state, but I think it would have been nice if you could at least answer our inquiries. I think it's good for healthy people from CA."
"The PCR test was completed in 20 minutes. Everyone was kind and nice. thank you."
"The office clerk who answers the phone is not helpful at all and in fact a bit rude and has a 'can't be bothered with' attitude. She asked which insurance my mom had and after the reply she said "Oh, we don't accept insurance". What doctor doesn't accept any insurance and if its truly the case, why ask her which insurance she had??!! Also, she asked what the health issue was with my mom and when my mom explained she has angina, the office clerk told her she should go see a cardiologist anyways. I called back another time and she said yes, the doctor was accepting new patients. Then when I asked if the insurance companies they accept is on their website, she said "Oh, we are not accepting new patients". It seems as if they pick and choose their patients. Do not go to this office if you are looking for a friendly and helpful staff."
"I think people who are looking for a Japanese doctor in this area will probably find it on e-jan etc., so I would like to explain the above exchange in Japanese, “(Gacha) Yes?” "Oh, my wife is complaining of abdominal pain..." “What about insurance?” "Um, XXX (company name)" "I don't have insurance for XXX" "No, it's UnitedHealth." “Ah, UnitedHealth is Out of Network.” "Ah, that's right. The primary doctor is on summer vacation." "That's what I mean (gacha)." After all, the content of the exchange was simply to confirm whether or not I was within the insurance network, but the way they responded was as if they were trying to tell me not to make that troublesome phone call. I don't want someone with such an attitude towards inquiries to take care of my precious wife. I don't know if the man with the deep voice is the receptionist or the doctor himself (I've lost the will to listen), but I don't even want to contact him again."
