"I’ve had the pleasure of working closely alongside Tyana Tavakol as a colleague and I can attest to her strengths as a therapist. Tyana has an innate ability to create a safe and welcoming space for clients and she has a remarkable talent for working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. She is compassionate and patient, and her approach is sensitive to the unique needs and experiences of each person. I highly recommend Tyana to anyone seeking compassionate and effective therapy. This is someone who truly cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to help them achieve their goals. Beverly Hills Therapy Group clearly brings in exceptional therapists and I've heard nothing but good things!"
"I did not like my first therapy session, it was like a pleasant chat with an acquaintance over sweet nothings. Which would be fine except that I paid for it and have a lot of trauma I need to resolve. I asked for a refund because it didn't seem fair to me that I would be giving my precious savings money for a chat, not even a chat, therapist was not asking any questions about my history and had no plan for the session to steer me to explore what I am going through, I actually felt stressed to keep this pleasant conversation going. Because of such a bad experience, I asked for a refund. They refused refund and instead offered me a complimentary session with another therapist, also an associate therapist. I missed the second session (I didn't really want it anyway, I wanted a refund). Not cool on my part, but I do have a baby and a toddler in my "defense." What is mind boggling to me is that they proceeded to try to charge me for the COMPLIMENTARY session that they themselves had offered me. They did say that they reversed the charge. But this just showed me that this place cares about money in a somewhat unethical way. Their associate therapist I talked to was a nice friendly person but BAD for therapy, non effective. Maybe their therapists who are more trained and experienced are better (I hope so..) but those cost up to 500 dollars and I am not able to pay this much for one 50 or 55 minute session."
"I quite literally cannot emphasize how grateful I am to have found Ron Gad, a psychologist but also the founder of Beverly Hills Therapy Group. If you need help with personal, professional, or marriage issues, I am a living testament that this man and his staff will help change your life. They have the skillsets and modalities to help you alleviate any personal or relationship struggles you may be facing. I initiated work with Ron when things came to a head with my husband and me. We participated in a 6 day intensive therapy retreat that forever changed our lives. He sets up the retreat agenda with insane intentionality behind it. It focuses on reconnecting through various means while also working through the most damaging/painful issues. My husband and I returned home with a better understanding of who we are individually, what we need collectively, and the tools to use as we navigate our marriage. I haven't felt this connected to my husband in years, and didn't know if there was even a possibility to do so prior to this retreat. After the retreat, we have both continued joint therapy and initiated individual therapy. Within a month of working with Ron, I already feel a shift in my overall well-being and self-understanding. I had cycled through several therapists over the last ten to fifteen years, but never felt like the internal work I did stuck with me. I would feel unmotivated to attend therapy after a few sessions and move on to a new therapist or stop all together. I didn't trust them, and I felt like I was just talking about issues and feelings but was not moving forward. This is where Ron really stands out to me: he focuses on solving present day issues by working through root causes. It is without question, that if we don't address the origin of our feelings, that we won't truly heal our wounds or change our behaviors. He has made me a firm believer in this, and I am continuing to see this play out. I deeply wish that anyone who reads this and is seeking help passively or desperately, reaches out to Beverly Hills Therapy Group today. I promise you it will change your life. I know it has for my husband and me. Outside of Ron's unquestionable skills, he is one of a kind. He is extremely likeable, hospitable (always has snacks, water, and coffee for you in his office), hysterical, and non-judgmental. He is open with his personal battles and very much humanizes the entire therapeutic experience. Good therapists are hard to find, but exceptional therapists are nearly impossible. I can't thank Ron and the BHTG enough."
"Getting a therapist is like shopping for clothes. You want to find something that feels right and fits nice. That is Maddie for us. She is amazing at what she does, the way she break things for me and my husband to then have that "ah" moment. That when we realize did good in choosing her. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a therapist."
"As a fellow clinician, I highly recommend Jerri Werksman as a therapist. Jerri is a kind and compassionate person who really takes the time to understand each of her clients needs. She works especially well with individuals struggling with grief and loss, as well as individuals/couples who are transitioning into parenthood, including couples experiencing difficulty trying to conceive. If you want meaningful change in your life - Jerri is the one for you!"
