"Time for Dr. Stohrer to put the towel in the ring. This physician will divert from your birth plan as much as possible and make claims that she is simply negotiating what is possible even with no previous pre-existing conditions or health issues she will make recommendations and throw insults in order to get you to submit to what is convenient to her. I.e. mention of scheduled induction, epidural and persistence on the outdated practice of birthing on your back. I will never recommend this physician to any expectant mother nor will I ever be seen again by this so called “experienced” physician. You would think someone who has been in the field for more than 20 years would learn that after years of research back birthing causes a domino effect of interventions and that an epidural has its fair share of risks that will not benefit the expectant mother who has had a healthy 8 hour labor and intervention-free birthing experience."
