"Keep an eye on your kids if they go to school at Kennedy. Teachers don't care, students run around stealing and fighting on and off campus. The school is going down hill fast someone needs to step up and get some discipline at Kennedy. One of the worst schools in the area. if you need some proof look up the article about the so called JFk freshman posse, causing havoc on and off campus!"
"Get ready to start school at the Sacramento Unified School District, John F Kennedy High School. As me and my son prepare to start his sophomore year. We have the knowledge of knowing that the Sacramento Unified School District as well as John F Kennedy High School really don't want Jesse to attend their school or be in their District. Jesse's not what they consider to be a normal student. The fact that he spends his life in a wheelchair. The school and the district does everything in their power to make life rough. Jesse doesn't get adaptive PE he just sits there and watch other kids play but has to have a P.E. class. He's put in the back of every classroom that, he attended but still isolated. They pat themselves on the back for the great job they do. Anything that we have requested the district has outright rejects. The fact that accommodations are reimbursable by the Federal government, but they still refuses. John F Kennedy what a great School, The Sacramento Unified School District you're doing a great job as long as you're not disabled. Even transportation which they have been doing for two years. Now they have stopped without any notification. After phone call they simply said Jesse is not on the list no letter and they don't return phone calls. Just so happy to be forced to enrolled my child into district and school."
"It's a wonderful school. Not too ghetto, and the teachers are pretty good as well!"
"its has summer programs that can help you make up credits out side of summer school and you are able to get free lunch over the summer and the school pool is open"
"Great school, lots of extracurricular activities. The students are great, except for those who chose to do nothing with their lives ruin the fun (as with all public schools)."
