"i toured this place back in december on the 14th & i paid a application fee & reservation fee (totaling in $264) & AFTER taking my money i was told that i needed a co-signer (on the 20th of december) & which i do NOT have & they kept trying to brush it off by saying “well we’ll give you a few days to find one” TF i just said i ain’t have one ! so then i requested my refund the day of them telling me about the need for a cosigner (december 20th) & i have yet to receive my $264 almost a whole month later. i’ve even contacted goldmark (sometime last week) & whoever i spoke to said “yea that’s not right, let’s get you your $264 back” & i have yet to receive my MUNYUNS !! i sent an email yesterday morning expressing that i won’t hesitate to get law enforcement involved by the end of this week because i do personally know a co sheriff & no response! don’t waste your time coming here update (1/24/2024): their response to my review is inaccurate, it’s been a month, STILL haven’t gotten my money & i’ve BEEN reaching out to goldmark property weeks ago and never received an email back or ANYTHING of that sort. they’ve taught me to never pay a reservation fee unless i know i’m approved for the unit. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! UPDATE(2/1/2024): they still haven’t gave me my money back"
"Current renter. I have lived here for 3+ years now. In out initial apartment we had many flooding issues, in the kitchen and bathroom. Nothing ever was fixed. They only cleaned up water then we would get flooded again. When I complained about water damage to dining room carpet and bathroom vanity they said it looked OK. Even the carpet cleaner told them it needed to be replaced. Still nothing was done. Had issues with mice and they told me I was responsible to seal up holes. Cabinets are old and in poor shape. Even though I see new appliances coming in to the building. Ours are still old and broken. Many times I had out cars Catalytic converter stolen. Which doesn't offer much assurance of safety. Our garage was broken into. When they did finally address the water issue they moved us to another apartment.no better than the last. They told us it was ready to move in but when we did we found the doors damaged to all rooms. The windows damaged. Old broken appliances. Old dirty damaged tub. We had mice and electrical issues. And everytime you bring up a concern they seem annoyed. They only care that they receive their rent and have no intent on improving the apartment. It's been three months since I moved out of old apartment and nothing has been done to it. There is still water damage. Two other apartments have been vacated as well cause the flooding came from and affected those apartments as well. They only want to do the bare minimum but never fix the true problems. I am just a father asking for a decent, livable place for my kids. The pools are always under repair. I am appalled that this is how they treat their tenants."
"We have lived here now going on almost 3 years. We never have a quality response to any concern we have. The responses take days to weeks before you hear something. There is always miscommunication they say with everything. Since moving in, we have had multiple changes in management. We pay an abundance for what we have. Nothing in our apartment has been updated like the other units have. We still have the original cupboards that are falling apart. Our refrigerator is old and yellow. Faucets that do not work properly. We have fixed items ourselves just to save the hassle of dealing with management and maintenance. Before signing our new lease we asked for a list of items to be fixed to comply with the increasing rent each year. Never any response. They are quick to want their money and do not care about the conditions of the property or the units. Broken side door locks for months on end leaving the building unsecured. Holes in walls in the hallway, cleanliness is not of concern to them around or in the units or complex. Laundry machines are never working. The pools are over chlorinated or never working. The amenities are of subpar quality. The list can go on and on... poor management and poor corporate business."
"I’ve been here for about two years now this is the worst place I’ve ever lived. It’s going on two months that I haven’t had a refrigerator three months ago. The garage broke my Mercedes-Benz window because it was Ragley and it just fell on my window management told me they were looking into it Never did nor did they get back with me that was $700 out of my pocket I have a two bedroom apartment one bathroom and they charge me basically $1500. My neighbor has a three bedroom and two bathroom she’s paying 12 or $1300 so they’re obviously overpricing me. And to be honest, I think they’re racist if it wasn’t for my cat, there will be rodents running around my apartment because there was last year before I got my cat, so it was infested with rats or mice whatever Then there’s something in the wall one of the neighbor said bats The inside pool is always being worked on, so the pool is never available, and again they take forever to fix anything"
"I’m going to tell you the good and the bad. I had lived in these apartments for a long time and left for a few years and came back about two years ago. rent is currently $1,205 per month, up from $840 per month when I moved in the first time and quite honestly it’s gone down hill drastically over the past few years in terms of quality of the facilities, safety, and maintenance. We love the convenient location and the beautiful wooded setting which abuts a nature preserve with great trails for walking and exploring. The indoor and outdoor pools are nice and the exercise room is nice to have although it’s very basic. The apartments are your standard size and quality cheaply outfitted apartments. Ours is actually somewhat decent with newer carpet, an extra half bathroom and cherrywood kitchen cabinets. The balconies are nice too. Now for the bad; The place is run down. Our building desperately needs a new roof. We actually had rain water gush into our kids’ bedroom through the ceiling, and from the looks of it, the other buildings need to be roofed too. The hot tub has been damaged for months and management seems to have no plans to replace it in the near future. We have mice and despite exterminators coming out on multiple occasions they persist because per our exterminator, building maintenance was supposed to fill in the holes where the mice are coming in and they have yet to do so. The last time I asked management to please do something about the mice they told me that if they were to send an exterminator again they would bill me for the cost of their services which is obviously a completely unacceptable response on their part. Safety is also becoming more and more of a concern here. We have had our car broken into, just last week I walked out of my door to find a young man sleeping in the hallway near the top of the stairs, and there have been numerous police incidents here in the past few months. I have voiced my concerns about this to management and they are at best unconcerned and maybe even a bit annoyed at me for inconveniencing them with my concerns. I’ve seen the same garbage sitting in the hallways of my building for several days at a time which indicates that the care takers are not doing their job. I really like the setting but I would honestly recommend you think twice before spending your hard earned cash renting here."
