"Employee number 153774 was absolutely kind and patient with me. I called him three times before I even got here just to find out if I was going to the correct store because there are a couple and two of them were closed because it’s Sunday. He was very patient each time I called, then when I got to his store and the price came up for the shipping, I nearly had a heart attack. Again he was super patient with me and explained the cost and why it was expensive and why the post office would have been an even more expensive route to go , I just wanted to say, despite the fact that my box cost a lot to ship and it was stressing me out, he was very sincere and kind and did everything he could to ease the pain"
"Bummed out with the customer service here at UPS. The hours they have posted is not the hours they operate. On Sundays, it’s stated they close at 3pm, and an employee closed the store down at 12pm “because it’s slow” and I could not send out my package. UPS should hire employees that want to work, instead of employees who do the minimum."
"I go to this store quite frequently and they have been exceptionally great in customer service, except last week. There was one girl working and I was third in line. Waited about 8 to 10 min, when a male associate entered probably from lunch, proceeded to start helping girl in front of me and then he spotted someone who had a mailbox in there and must have been holding a card for a package- the associate walked away real quick to get this guy’s pkg. This man did not even have to wait 3 min and even tried to walk up in front of the next girl in line. I’m sorry, but we are all customers. That wasn't right and he should have gotten in line like the rest if us. Maybe a number system is needed at thus store."
"I really enjoyed going there before customer service can be good at times, unfortunately with in the last months I’ve noticed a completely different change, before P.O. Box members were able to go inside the store at all times with a key even after close, not anymore. I’ve had packages that I thought were missing sent from Mexico there at the ups store giving to me four months later like no one could of thought to leave a notification of a package that has been in there store for four months as a paid member. I’ve had to ask them to please don’t leave any packages inside my P.O. Box instead leave a tracking receipt and wait in line for them to hand me the package because I noticed that they’re okay with people that they’re cool with enter the back of the P.O. Box case and see if they have a package in there P.O. Box and if not just leave the ups store instead of using there P.O. box key and open there P.O. box and see if a package has arrived l, like what in the world that is not okay someone can easily steal from there, because there’re no locks or seals in the back of the P.O. Box anyone can from behind the Bo box case see all mail and steal which has happened on a large scale already and I was never notified about a robbery at the ups store, I was left to figure it out on my own that my package was stolen. I would get notified by the ups store that my package was ready for me to pick up and me arriving to see the employees chillin on there phone with hours of time to sort the two or three bags of mail and them telling me that my package is not going to be ready for pick up that day and the next day them being closed for holiday purposes. I got fed up with the lousy service that decided to not do business there anymore and to only send important packages and pay the five dollar fee for every single package I send there, well today I was charged ten dollars for every single package!! Like what in the world??? How is that even possible I really hope they don’t go out of business there because I really enjoyed the location of that ups store, like what is happening in Santa Maria??? Lol who is targeting all the businesses?? Everything is closing down! By the way like a month ago and prior that store would advertise with large large window stickers “great for small business” the stickers are no longer there anymore because I don’t think anyone could run a small business through that specific ups store, I don’t run a small business and see it impossible for any to run a business there. PS when you search up on google UPS town center west it will direct you to ups town center East there other location across the street, even to post this review. It’s like they want this ups store located in the Santa Maria town center west shopping center to close down, shame shame"
"The older lady that was there today was really rude and made me uncomfortable. 1/5/21 I made an appointment because as a new mom my time is very limited and when I got there the older lady rudely asked what I needed help with I told her I had an appointment and needed to get a signature and she told me “you need to see a notary” & I replied “yes” she tells me “we’re not taking any appointments for notary but step aside and she will be with you in a bit” I was a bit confused on why she replied to me that way as in she didn’t want to help me. I had made an appointment & the way she was chit chatting and laughing with the customer before me & after me made me feel disrespected with the way she spoke to me as if I was less of a person because the other two customers were not Hispanic like me. If I would’ve known I was going to get treated like that by the older lady I would’ve taken my business elsewhere. The younger lady that was there was so helpful though, she made it so easy and helped me every step of the way to getting my letter signed and shipped. I believe the younger lady was named Elizabeth as it is what it says on my receipt. You guys need to hire more employees like her."
