"I love the environment. It's spacious, clean and feels safe. The people who work in the District office are very friendly, they have patience and have the charisma to explain the rental procedure to follow. For now, my suggestion is that the parking be labeled for each apartment."
"Honestly these apartments are not with the $2,350! Upon moving in there was a LOT of issues with the apartment! Inspection was completed 5 days before we moved in, very disappointed that they thought the work that had been done was good. The work looked like it was rushed. There are a bunch of eye sores and inconveniences! I am a returning tenant and honestly liked the apartment better when rent was only $1,825. Thank goodness we will only be here for a couple of months then my husbands orders change. NOT WORTH IT"
"The truth is that as a family we are very grateful for the work, performance, help and good attention they gave us to find our new home in the Terrace View District community. The people who treated us and helped us with our case were very kind and provided all their help so we could move soon. Many thanks to customer service representative Tasiana Mojica for her excellent service and to Sabrina Jaimes for her help to my family. We are very happy."
"My review will touch base on what others have posted. This housing community isn't that bad, honestly. Like most areas in San Diego, the homeless are everywhere. Most of them don't bother anyone they just want the cans and plastic bottles in the dumpster to bring to the recycling place across the street. There are those that will steal stuff off your patio and take your laundry from the laundry room. So, if you don't want anything stolen, don't leave stuff in your patio and make sure to lock the laundry room. Parking is first come, first served, and the parking spots are really tight, and a lot of people don't know how to park properly. Reserved parking spots are not given to "favored residents" they are reasonable accommodation for a disabled person who requested it. In order to get a reserved parking spot, you need to submit a letter from your physician, and the housing will review it prior to approval/denial of any reasonable accommodation. In this housing, living on the top floor, you should be considerate of the people living below you, and living on the bottom floor means you will never have peace and quiet. Aparment living. The structure is not soundproof, and every footstep is heard in the entire unit. Loud tv, loud music, loud conversation, kids running, and jumping coming from someone living on the top floor is traumatizing. So if you are getting noise complaints instead of retaliating, try to find a solution so that everyone can enjoy their apartment without traumatizing one another. If you have pets and they bark and whine all the time, it is your responsibility to train them. If you have kid(s) and live on the top floor, do your best to teach your kid(s) not to run and jump inside and if that is impossible, research how to muffle/soundproof the running and jumping noise. Remember, everyone deserves to be able to enjoy their dwelling the same as you. Everyone deserves peace and quiet the same as you. Loud cars are heard within the community and out on the street. This community is dead smacked in the middle of two major highways, so the traffic noise is constant, modified cars doing pulls on the street, motorcycle clubs loudly cruising by, occasional police high speed chase etc. Residents all have different cars, some are quiet, some are stock loud, and some are modified to be loud. This type of noise is everywhere it's not just in this community. Dogs and cats, most people here have approved ESA's and some service dogs, but there are some who have pets that were not approved to be in housing. So don't be so quick to report people, and don't be so quick with getting a pet because if your pet is not an approved ESA or a service dog, you have 3 options. Option one: Get a physician letter stating you need an ESA/service dog, option two: move out, and option three: rehome your pet. The damages made by these pets, regardless if they are ESA or service animals, you will have to pay for them. Please pick up after your dog just because you see other people not picking up after their dog doesn't mean you shouldn't either. As a dog owner, it is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. Any move out fees incurred will be a headache because you will be charged for everything they see in the unit. Make sure to document everything before moving in, take pictures, and use a UV light on the carpets and floor before moving in. Every repair done in your unit, document it and take before and after pictures. This is the only way you will be able to prove those damages were not done by you. Management constantly changes, so everyone will meet different office staff, but maintenance personnel have stayed consistent, and they are amazing. Just like civilian housing, rent also increases with military housing. This community is one of the few that still has flat rate and doesn't take the whole BHA."
"As a service member I’ve had a terrible experience with this military housing company. First of all they will give favoritism to certain residents allowing them to have reserved parking, allow favored residents to have loud cars and constantly call you while deployed about “noise complaints” and when you move out they will tack on crazy move out fees and offer ridiculous payment plans that make no sense. I don’t recommend anyone black to rent from these people I don’t think they should be sponsored by the military and an investigation should be conducted on these facilities."
