Park Overland Apartments

"I really enjoyed my first 6 months living here, as the apartment is really nice for the price and conveniently located, and my property manager was really on top of things! The new property manager was also relatively responsive, and I appreciated her efforts. However, I had an awful experience moving out and was charged for both painting and cleaning fees ($600) so I did not get that back from my security deposit. This was despite leaving the apartment in pristine condition and having it cleaned. After a month of back and forth emails and almost going to small claims, they finally refunded me back $450, and I decided the other $150 just wasn't worth it. Be careful, as Moss and Co. suggested that this is a standard charge for all tenants and has some sketchy wording written into the lease! They were super unresponsive to my emails, and the only reason why I got part of my deposit back was because I kept following up with my property manager."

"I've lived at Park Overland and had an absolutely amazing experience. It's primarily due to the non-stop care of their property manager Nora. She is by far the best property manager I've ever had. She is quickly to follow up on any upcoming issue (from the simple maintenance wear&tear to Amazon driver not bringing your packages to your door) to preventable checks ahead of holidays/heatwave/cold/etc. As a result, the building running as a well oiled clock. I've only moved out because I wanted a bigger unit and there was no availability in the building."

"I had a fantastic time living at Park Overland. Nora is the best landlord I've ever had, she took really good care of me and helped me through a couple big issues. Maintenance was always prompt and helpful. Great location. Unfortunately the walls are a little thin and I could hear my neighbors sometimes but not the end of the world. The proximity to Culver and the freeways, the big floor plan (I had the junior loft), and the excellent staff made up for it and then some."

"I really enjoyed living at Park Overland - and the property manager, Nora, deserves a ton of the credit for that! She was always so responsive, helpful, and kind. Whenever I had an issue in the apartment, I knew that it would get resolved quickly. Nora was also so kind to our dog - Nora was definitely one of her favorite people. Our unit had incredibly good natural lighting, and the tall ceilings made it feel very spacious. The rooftop pool is great and has nice views, the hot tub is perfect. I would definitely recommend Park Overland."

"I lived at Park Overland for about a year and a half (November 2020 to June 2022), and would have continued to live there had I not needed to move for personal reasons. The building is well maintained, clean, and quiet. The rooftop pool is nice, and the gym/hot tub/sauna are convenient (especially if you are working from home). The underground parking is safe and secure, so you won't need to park on the street. The 10 and 405 freeways are a couple blocks away for convenience, and the neighborhood to the east of the building is beautiful for taking walks. The apartment manager, Nora, is by every measure the best apartment manager/landlord I've ever had. Maintenance requests were responded to in a timely manner (even on her days off), so any issues I had with the unit were handled very quickly. She really cares about the tenants and the building, and goes well above and beyond what her job requires. In an industry where apartment managers and landlords do the bare minimum to get their paycheck, Nora is a shining star. If you are apartment hunting on this side of LA, then I would highly recommend choosing Park Overland."
