"Good for a 2-3 star hotel. Location is great. Rooms are spacious and clean. Building is kinda old and the elevator is really old and loud (kinda scary when jolts into motion). Maids are friendly. Better to book with 3rd party apps which have better prices than booking directly with locals rates There is no filtered water on any the floors. However there is purified water in fitness room on second floor. So you fill up your water bottles there. Pool and hot tub is small but nice for quick dip. You can rent bikes with hotel at $25 / day Parking is not included and cost $22 / day. You can park on street but there is large homeless (RV van living) population in this area. We had some construction workers come into the room randomly who were not maids claiming didn’t know we were there. Not sure why they had key card access to booked rooms. Kinda weird and scary as they didn’t announce who they were or what they trying to do. Person at the desk was clueless and thought it was normal for people to walk unlock rooms and walk in."
"Had a 2 night stay here and we really enjoyed our time. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. We didn't really get to use a lot of the out door amenities because it was raining but they have a cute courtyard with music and games and places to hangout and a pool with a small hot tub. Staff was great. We had no issues at all."
"Fantastic hotel. Worth every penny. Bed was comfortable. Very cool aesthetic. Rooms had such a fun vibe and were incredibly clean. I will definitely be back! Oh and the parking was super easy. Great location."
"We stayed 2 nights at the Kinney. Initially we were a little worried about the spot as it seemed a little new The management more than made up for it! They were extremely helpful, the room was beautiful well connected with transit! Would definitely stay here again in the future. It is a little further from the peer, but for the price it is worth it, and you can easily bike over in a short while"
"I loved evening about this hotel. The decor, staff and we were so highly impressed with our room. The bed has ruined me for all other hotel beds as it was like sleeping on a cloud. We were able to check in early after a 16 hour fight which was extremely appreciated. It's a easy distance to the beach and great bikes to hire for only $25 a day. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!"
