"Very spacious apartments and super clean amenities!! Love how I can get rid of my gym membership and spend more time at home because everything will be a walk away. I’m about to move in in a couple weeks and Brandon in the office was very accommodating. He made sure I saw all the amenities because that was a priority on my apartment-hunting list. Brandon was very professional and helped my boyfriend and I find the apartment we needed for our new family."
"I gotta vent about my friends' place because it's been bugging me big time. So, I arrive at their place, and right awaytrash everywhere on the street. I mean, seriously, it's like the garbage truck just exploded or something. Then, we get inside, and it's a whole other level of chaos. The neighbors upstairs are not normal at all. Non-stop noise. Like, how are we supposed to sleep with all that racket? I was there just for a night but how about my friend? I can see she is not feeling good at all. My friends have been trying to sort it with the manager, but it's like talking to a brick wall. No action, no care. It's messed up. It's not just about the inconvenience of noise, it's affecting my friends' health and quality of life. One of them even gets headaches and feels sick from the lack of sleep. After seeing the crap my friends have to deal with, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It's a total dumpster. Trust me, you don't want to be stuck in that nightmare."
"If I could give Vert's management zero stars, I would do it without hesitation. PLEASE WATCH OUT BEFORE SIGNING ANY LEASE AGREEMENT with them. Initially they were all smile and promises, making the place seem like a dream come true but as soon as you are in, you will face the reality. We have moved here since 6 months ago, the level of noise from our upstair neighbor has been a nightmare. Despite all the complains we made and the promises from the management that they will address the issue nothing has been done so far. They rent the building even though they were aware of the problem and we found out from the previous tenant's friends that they had the same noise issue from upstairs. The management first promised us that they will move us to different apartment with the exact same plan and the same rate at no cost as it’s not our fault, but it never happened and we have been dealing with the noise since day one which is horrible. Apart from this, the front of the building is always dirty with trash everywhere. The building management seems to have no regard for basic hygiene standards. Last week, I had a small gathering in my apartment and all my guests commented on the noise coming from upstairs and the trashes in front of the building and that was so embarrassing to hear all those from my guest ! It's really disappointing to see that I'm paying a lot for an apartment that isn't as good as they said it would be. To top of it, the recent addition to the on-site management team, Brandy, seems to lack the necessary knowledge of how to properly interact with residents! She isn’t very polite and doesn't have the knowledge of how to treats residents. It’s like she forgot that she is here to helps us !"
"Had an appointment to tour the property at 11:30 and arrived on time. I used the intercom to contact the leasing office and was buzzed in by MICHAEL. I saw Michael in his office with people, so I sat in the lobby. Soon after, the people left his office and for a full 15 minutes Michael did NOT LEAVE HIS OFFICE OR EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME! So I went into his office and asked what was the issue and he said he “thought I was waiting for someone”. Excuse me? You (the leasing agent) was the one that buzzed me in. Where is your common sense? Honestly, I was pretty hesitant touring this property as the street is literally scattered with trash! It’s absolutely ridiculous. Despite people blaming Greystar, I actually like Greystar and will take my money to a different Greystar complex."
"To New and Current tenants I'd recommend exploring other facilities before committing or continuing a lease here at Vert This facility is a facade. The amenities are used as selling points yet the safety solutions and team communication are a huge opportunity. My vehicle was stolen from the secured garage on 12.7.23. The experience is unfortunate but more so disheartening on how this incident was dealt with by Grey Star. As a new tenant I had expectations that this facility would have exceptional operational procedures and communication, they do not. No communication was shared to the Vert community to build awareness about safety concerns. Expectations were continuously set in person by leasing agents/management that they were working hard to figure things out, but to no avail. I hoped for solutions but they continued to overlook a safety concern. I requested my case be escalated to Regional Management, its now been over a month and I have not been contacted. Additional Nuances: -The water is never hot. The pipes roar when trying to use hot water. -Garbage lives in front of the building which serves as an invitation for people to come hang out and pick through it. - Garbage tends to block high traffic alley area / entering and exiting parking garages - Plenty cabinets, No drawers for kitchenware - Sky light in bathroom is allocated over shower leaving the rest of the bathroom extremely dim. - In the event of a power outage the Key Fob technology used will not allow doors to unlock. (No physical key/alternative option to enter)"
