"DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Wish we would’ve looked at the reviews before staying here, but sadly we didn’t. Horrible experience. They tried up charging us upon check in which thankfully I was able to get that corrected. Room keys didn’t work leaving some guests looked out of not only their rooms, but the hotel as well. Extremely unprofessional. Best Western is right next door and they were able to take care of some of the guests that were locked out of the hotel without their phones so I’d highly recommend staying there instead. This hotel is a huge safety risk!!!"

"I stayed at the AmericInn of Hudson, Wisconsin on Friday, November 11, 2023….my final destination was Colfax, Wisconsin for the NCAA D3 REGIONAL XC MEET. I wanted a hotel close to I94 because I was traveling by myself. This was a perfect location. I read the reviews and found many mixed comments HOWEVER I know how AmericInn honors requests and addresses concerns…thus I chose to stay here. It was about 7pm when I checked in…I was greeted at the desk by a wonderful young man named Peter Patel…he was very knowledgeable and very kind and helpful. I was on the third floor … it appeared this room and/or floor had been remodeled. My room was fantastic, bed was comfortable, new furniture, etc. when I checked out I mentioned to Peter that the sink drain did not operate properly and he immediately wrote that message down and reassured me he would see that it was taken care of. Breakfast was hot and very tasty. Bottom line is I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms were reasonably priced however I had a free nights stay because of Wyndham points."

"Room was clean, king bed was soft (I like a harder mattress than most) it was a good quality mattress. Pillows were good down not that foam stuff. Nice comforter and clean sheets. Good nights sleep. The pool is clean, not deep but sure nice on the 98 degree day for cooling off and relaxing. Some chipping on paint and a couple tiles in one corner out of level. No dirt or film on edges - they keep this clean and I appreciate that. Breakfast is the usual - eggs, sausage bagels, yogurt, pancakes, waffle maker, hotel coffee (try the Dunn Brothers across the road if you like the high test). Not the newest hotel, but clean and friendly staff. Appropriate for the price point. Quick access to 94 and all the Hudson shopping. I will stay again."

"Horrible hotel, has horrible owners and very run down. the beds don’t even fit on the box springs, everytime i rolled over the bed would slide down. the pool is over chlorinated and is due for an upgrade. my brother sliced his foot open due to chipped tiling in the pool. as well as it’s 3 ft deep so don’t go jumping in. over all horrible experience, make sure to lock your card after purchasing or you’ll be expected to pay $60 for a room upgrade that you didn’t even get!!!!"
