Reviews
"Driving to this place I was a littler nervous because of the reviews but my experience was much different. I was greeted right away, was offered a beverage and a small snack while waiting to be helped. The ladies in there were very nice and welcoming. While on the tour my questions were answered with confidence and the property was nice and well kept. When wrapping up the tour one of the ladies in the office, think her name was Tyana, came out to make sure all my questions were answered. I didn’t end up renting from them because it was little over my price range but I definitely enjoyed how they conducted themselves in a professional manner and the welcoming environment that was offered."
"An Unfortunate Beginning - Vasari Apartments Move-in Horror Moving into a new apartment is supposed to be an exciting experience, but my recent move-in at Vasari Apartments turned into an absolute nightmare. Despite my explicit requests to the leasing office to ensure that the unit was ready for occupancy, my initial impressions were nothing short of disappointing. Upon entering the apartment, I was met with an appalling lack of cleanliness. The unit was infested with spiders and their webs, and the walls were unpainted, covered in dirt, dust, and unidentifiable stains. The overall maintenance was severely lacking, leaving me wondering whether any effort had been put into preparing the apartment for a new tenant. To make matters worse, although I had diligently set up my PG&E account, I discovered that all gas-powered appliances were non-functional. Despite the involvement of the maintenance team, their inability to rectify the issue left me with no choice but to contact PG&E directly. Shockingly, the PG&E team uncovered that all appliance valves in the unit were turned off – a simple oversight that should have been addressed during the move-in preparations. The subpar quality of the apartment became increasingly evident with cheap cabinets and uneven painting. The overall appearance of the living space left much to be desired, raising questions about the standards maintained by Vasari Apartments. On my first night, the key fob provided by the leasing office turned out to be dysfunctional. Stranded outside my own residence, I had to rely on the kindness of other residents to gain access to my apartment. This added inconvenience highlighted yet another flaw in the management's attention to detail and tenant satisfaction. Despite reporting these issues to the leasing team, their response was disappointingly lackluster. Acknowledging the problems without offering any tangible solutions left me feeling neglected and regretful of my decision to choose Vasari Apartments as my new home. To provide a comprehensive perspective, I have attached photos showcasing the numerous issues I encountered during my move-in. If you're considering moving into Vasari Apartments, I strongly advise you to think twice and thoroughly inspect the property before committing to what might be a regrettable decision. Good luck to anyone brave enough to take on the challenges of Vasari Apartments."
"I have lived here going on 5 years and I LOVE my apartment. The front office staff and maintenance are amazing!! When I have had an issue, the maintenance request is always responded to quickly, and then fixed to perfection. Yes, the gates do have issues at times, but I am going to guess that any gated community has the same issues. Things break down and then they get fixed. I guess what I am trying to say, is that it is not really fair to blame the complex and its staff for everything that goes wrong. They even added extra parking and garages just because there was a need. Now I realize that when someone is unhappy, they write a bad review. But I know that there are a lot of people, like me, that have lived here for multiple years. You don’t stay somewhere that you’re not happy, so there are a lot of satisfied tenants that you’re not hearing from. The grounds are kept up beautifully and the common areas are always clean and neat. People are welcoming, and problems are dealt with as quickly as they can be. If you’re in the market for an apartment, I for one recommend checking this place out. Everyone has an opinion; you should form one for yourself."
"Read the reviews, most of them are very honest and true with their feedback and experience in the Vasari Community. 1. Gates NEVER work. I don't know how many times I have asked for a different fob or a new code. 2. Pool is "secured" with someone who stares at their phone and allows non-tenants to cause havoc. 3. Management (now) is very unhelpful and unlikely to make ANY accommodation to create a better living experience for their tenants. 4. They will give notices that are not aligned with CA Laws, so please, do your research and don't let them take advantage of you. 5. Interior fixings are cheaply made and quality of poor for the outrageous monthly price. 6. You have to pay almost $50 for trash alone and half the time they don't pick it up - they slam the bins so loud and blast their music so baby always wakes up. 7. No parking, and if you do park outside, be prepared to hop the gate because back to #1, they do not work. And if you do have to park outside, be prepared to return in the morning to broken windows or slashed tires. SUPPOSEDLY there is security who monitors inside the complex, but I have been here three years and have never seen one outside of the incompetent one at the pool. 8. It took 34 emails to get a response. And no it was not the 34th one that did it, it was me requesting a higher point of contact because I was being neglected through communication. I have never been more happy to be leaving an apartment complex."
