"I wish I could provide less than one star. Horrible time moving in and out. Management is entirely incompetent. They are trying to take my entire deposit for an apartment I lived in 1 year and left in perfect condition. I’m having to contact the housing authority and a lawyer to get my deposit back. Please do not move here! You will regret it!"
"Pros: great family friendly location, quiet, and near many parks good pool and well maintained outdoor areas in the complex (minus the perpetually malfunctioning gates) Cons: strange, and outdated floor plans finicky appliances unprofessional, unhelpful management pests other tenants not picking up after their pets leaky ceiling AC vents price doesn't = quality of the apartment renewal rent rates are astronomically high Details: Literally the worst management ever. They rarely answer calls, if they do, they won't give a straight answer. In person on the day we moved in (one week after the move in day we were told originally forcing us to stay in a hotel), the manager was clearly intoxicated and very rude. Upon moving out the new management was equally incompetent, calling me to ask me to come turn in keys and sign documents for the move out, not even 3 hours after I signed the same documents and turned in my keys. 31 days before our lease was up we received our renewal offer, in which they informed us that should we stay rent would be increased by over $400. Fortunately we found a larger, cheaper, and much nicer two bedroom than the one bedroom in another part of town. The apartment itself was a strange floor plan. The carpet was gross, and the AC vent leaked. Pests were a constant problem and management was slow to dispatch pest control to alleviate the problem."
"I recently applied for an apartment, I was approved and sent a welcome letter. Once I was on my way to bring my deposit my offer letter was reversed and I was denied! I have yet to receive my holding deposit! I was giving the run around from Estaban and Cindy! I’m contacting a lawyer as we speak! They are stealing holding deposits."
"ZERO STARS- I had a horrible experience at Castellino and Sienna Villas (their sister property). At Sienna Villas I was greeted in the office with such a rude attitude. I ended up applying to a property in Castellino and from the start there was no communication. My partner and I kept constantly calling to get information in regards to the application we had submitted and for the first 3-4 days we could not get a hold of anyone. We were helped by a guy named Esteban and it seems like he has no idea what he is doing. We submitted the application thoroughly and accurately yet whenever we would actually get a hold of him he would tell us we were missing information. It seemed like the only time progress would be made was when we called Esteban and would ask him about the status of our application. We had a move in date of the 6th (a week and 2 days after our application was submitted) which esteban said was fine as long as verification from employers and previous renters was sent back quickly. We had all our employers and previous renters ready to answer any questions that esteban had yet he never contacted them until after the set move in date. He kept pushing back our move in date which is very unprofessional since both my partner are moving from other renting properties which we had already told them a move out date of the 5th. We were nearly homeless because of the lack of professionalism and laziness from Esteban. We ended up applying to a different and more expensive apartment complex and within 3 days we were approved and had a written up lease to move in as both my partner and I have perfect credit, a flawless rental history, way over 3x the rent in income. We ended up also being accepted in Castellino but the treatment we received from Esteban made our choice very clear. Such a shame that no urgency came from Esteban or any of the staff. Please be cautious when applying and please do not work with Esteban!!!"
"My husband and I along with our dog moved into these apartments in the end of 2020 after selling our house and moved out early 2022. There are more cons than pros. 1.While we lived there, never had access to gym and pool until we asked for the key fob during the last 3 months. 2. Main Gate was always broken and stayed open most of the time. When the gate was closed, our remote didn’t work nor the keypad. 3. People/management in the office changed 3-4 times. Only friendly worker was the maintenance guy. No option to pay to break lease early. 3. They charged us over $1K to replace the entire carpet in our 2 bedroom apt. The carpet was not super cleaned due to them rushing us to give them our key (even though we paid for our last month rent owed) but it did not have any damage. We did not wear shoes inside and our dog was potty trained. They didn’t have any record of our notice but was quick to keep calling us for our key. 4. They charge a trash valet fee monthly $25 even if you don’t use the service because you take your own trash. And the trash valet was not consistent. 5. Had broken ac unit during first summer 6. Crickets all over the place during summer (probably due to no pest control) 7. Dolly was stolen from our porch when we moved in. 8. This place is a rip off. When we left, our rent was $1998 for a 2 bedroom but now is listed for over $2050. Go find a house to rent at this price. 9. The people working there are jokes (other than maintenance guy)."
