"I lived here for five years. When I moved out I deep clean the carpet and cleaned everything out. They took my entire deposit and charged me $1600 for damages, which I didn't plan on paying so they sent it to collection. It's been eight years collection can't get a dime from me. Rent somewhere else and save the trouble."
"Its been awhile I hope the manager way back is not here anymore I forgot what yr all rental money is missing And im one of they victim of it. Owner did not do anything still asked for payment Our mistake is because my wife left cash in the envelope and drop it in the office after hours. But more tenant complaining same thing happened to them I do not recommended this place special with children."
"My elderly parents live there , pay rent on time full not section 8 ! It is a frost warning night and their heating has not worked for 3 days !!! Mom reported it to the manager yesterday and was told they would come by 3 pm to check. NOBODY CAME! Today she called again along with myself and the manager SARAH told them and me that someone would check it by 6 pm. IT IS 6:30 pm NOONE SHOWED UP! This is illegal especially since they are elderly under the care of a social worker. It is considered abuse as dad has serious chronic diseases that the cold without heat can put him at risk. Some can say why dont they go somewhere? Why should they have to if they pay rent as described in their contract which Quail Ridge Apartments is now in breach!! 9/9/23 Here we go again! It is now summer and the same issue the central went out again . Maintenance came on 8/8/23 took a look and said he would have to ask the manager Sarah to see what she wanted to do! It is hot in the little 1 bedroom apartment with no windows and parents can’t even cook because it will get hotter!! Mom is now sick due to the high temp trying to stay cool using regular fans . Last time the social worker had to get involved as they are elderly in care of social services .Some may say why not take them somewhere else for those of you that don’t know rents are extremely high right now and they are paying rent ( on time) . If you pay rent somewhere you’d expect to at least get the basics without being ignored or overlooked , having to get others involved to speak up for you!!! We will se how long it takes this time!"
"If I could leave a negative amount of stars I would. When we first moved into the apartment it seemed great. The apartment was relatively clean and yes the appliances were old but hey for the price my husband and I were paying we didn't mind. We later in found out we were paying too much for a one bedroom by other neighbors we were paying 980 for a one bedroom apartment when our neighbors were only paying about 700. When we found this out we just assumed it was because we were newer residents. Fast forward a couple months then stuff started to go down hill fast. I got a call from the office that there was leaking coming from the neighbor below me and the management told me they were going to go into the apartment and see what the issue was and fix it. I waited around for about two weeks and the maintenance never showed up. I came home one day after work to my apartment door unlocked and my screen door to the patio open. The workers went in and fixed the problem but they left not only the screen door open but gave people access to walk into our apartment anytime they wanted through the front door since it was unlocked. They never told me when the maintenance was going to come. I never got a call or anything. Fast forward a couple more months and then we found out our rent went up to 1,080. They said it was because of low residency, I never heard of that and was going to move right then and there but my husband and I had a lease and we wanted our deposit back so we stayed until our lease was up. Long story short I would not recommend this place because the management here is not helpful and they have terrible customer service. These apartments are not worth what they are charging I recommend you look else where. Oh yeah by the way we only got 100 dollars back of our deposit ($500) even though I left that apartment spotless."
"My original review form when I moved in was taken down. When I moved into Quail Ridge the apartment was not ready and neither was the leasing agent (who later was fired because of drunk driving in the community and hitting residents cars). We scheduled an appointment to come in to take possession of the apartment, but the lease wasn't written up, the keys were not made and the apartment still had things that needed to be done. For almost a year there was no power for the patio (besides the water heater) and in two outlets (a vendor was sent out twice, but we ended up fixing it ourselves and haven't had a problem since). The appliances are very old and don't hold the correct temperature. The a/c system is in the ceiling and last summer would leak down into my bedroom every night. I would try calling the emergency maintenance line many times, but there was never an answer or a call back. On the sixth time of sending a vendor out something was finally done, but that was when winter time hit so I haven't had the a/c on since. The reason why I am writing the current review is because of the new management team who is there. I was told that because of low occupancy that I would not receive a renewal increase (along with many other residents) because they wanted to try and keep the residents. I was told this by the assistant manager Sharon (who has other reviews about her here). I was given an increase for the renewal, when I approached the office mentioned to them what I was told, they told me I was never told that and they didn't do it for anyone, they 'tried negotiating with the owners' (the community is owned by the same people who manage it), but they are still not working with me on this. The apartment community itself is in a good area, and a decent price for what you pay for in this area. The community I have no complaints about, but the management does leave something to be desired. If you chose to rent here then get what they offer you in writing from them and please do pay attention to the reviews."
