"After living here for a year, I can say this apt complex is better than the 2.5 star rating it has now. The apts are really cute and come furnished with everything you need for a great price. If you submit a service request, someone will come fix it in the next day or two. Management responds to emails quickly. I really enjoyed living here! Cockroaches are only an issue if you leave open food out, but I feel like that could be a potential issue anywhere you live. I only have one picture of my room, and it doesn’t show how spacious it was. It came with two large closets and a huge window."

"Ashley, the property manager is a delight! She made moving in extremely easy, and is always very helpful with any questions, very approachable, and quick to put in any maintenance request. I've lived here for almost 5 months and haven’t ever had a negative experience with this place. Maintenance requests are completed extremely quickly which is a huge bonus as other apartment complexes take forever to do so and are often unreachable more often that not."

"this apartment only fit for nerds who want to be alone forever. They don't allow you bring your friends or lover to your OWN aprtment for more than 14 days and they will watch you and force you to let them check your room to find if there are any traces shows others ever sleep in your room. In this apartment you have no privacy and they send you to court because you bring your friends to the apartment you paid. If you decided to spend your whole life alone Oakshade will be your best choice because your girlfriend or boyfriend can only visit you 14 times like you live in a prison. Absolutely the worst. The staff are very arrogant and rude. In winter, we had no hot water in the bathroom for ten days and the air conditioner also didn't work. It took like TEN DAYS for the staff to come and fix it. why there is no 0 star option？"
