"Service was on point concierge had a restraunt list available when I asked for suggestions...he was very helpful with directions. Our room was clean,beds were cloud soft and clean. Everything was in working order and clean plus great Location!"

"Great place to stay! Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Used a blacklight and the bed was clean and bathroom spotless. The hotel has been renovated in the past 4 years. The only improvement I could see was the couch in my room was pretty worn and I didn't want to sit in it. Otherwise this is a great location. Gas station right next door along with several food options that are very convenient. Close to downtown Davis, although I wouldn't walk there. I felt safe as a solo female traveler for business. It was close to my conference venue and it was very easy to get on and off the freeway. I would definitely come back here."

"In driving or walking distance from UC Davis/downtown and the many restaurants in that location. Front desk service is spectacular. Clean and spacious rooms. Good complimentary breakfast/coffee."

"Called this place last minute, and they were beyond accommodating. Bak was so helpful and attentive, sp professional. The room was huge, spotless, and the bedding was very comfortable. The continental breakfast is anything but continental. Full on breakfast with all the bells and whistles. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage, cereal, yogurt, egg omelets, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, and beverages. Coffee, juice, hot chocolate, and associated teas. I'm beyond impressed. THANK YOU - HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS."

"AVOID. I stayed there last night. This morning I awoke to the sounds of heavy construction at 05:30. Front desk staff were exceedingly unapologetic about the construction noise of which they are well aware. Their only comment was that it's not their problem. If you must stay there, insist on an odd-numbered room which puts you on the west side of the building. Nasty front desk. Caveat emptor. Service is 1/5 because of the nasty front desk. Location is 1/5 because of the construction next door."
