Casa Colina Del Sol Apartments

Casa Colina Del Sol Apartments is a welcoming community located at 5207 52nd Place in San Diego, California. Our property consists of 75 apartments designed for low-income seniors and individuals with disabilities. Housing Development Partners took over the property in 2003 to prevent it from being converted into higher-rent housing, ensuring affordability for the next 55 years.

A recent $646,000 renovation project was completed in December 2004, which included energy-efficient windows and doors, a modernized community room, kitchen, and laundry facilities. Our three-story complex also boasts a beautiful community room and well-maintained grounds for residents to enjoy.

In 2005, we added a Resident Services Coordinator to provide support and assistance to our residents. Our units are available to individuals with incomes at or below 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

Funding for Casa Colina Del Sol Apartments includes 4% low-income housing tax credit equity from National Equity Fund, a tax-exempt bond loan from Red Mortgage, and a residual receipts loan from the San Diego Housing Commission. We are committed to providing affordable and comfortable housing for our residents.
