"We needed an apartment that would take dogs immediately in the Oceanside area and found this hidden gem. We read some bad reviews about 'military' families being loud and difficult, that almost put us off applying, but our experience with all the diverse families here was very positive. Our immediate neighbors were friendly and helpful, the staff and management outstanding, and the apartment and amenities clean and modern. For a large apartment complex, we found it very quiet. Most of the noise came from the busy road just beyond our apartment. I would give five stars but we found that there being no toilet facilities by the pool on weekends and after hours was a bit off putting as kids were swimming and using the outdoor shower as a toilet (and who knows what else), and neighbors in the back area (where we walked our dogs) kept throwing food waste from balconies (chicken bones, hot dogs, etc) that our dogs would inevitably find and eat...then get sick. Residents would then complain about rats/mice back there (wondering why they had problems) and management put in lots of poison traps, which made it hard to walk dogs around without constant supervision. We worried that they might be getting sick from the poison as well. However, there are large grassy areas to walk them that don't have these traps, so make sure to walk them there to be safe and you'll have a great experience. This apartment complex is conveniently located, with a fab management and maintenance team (Angel is awesome), some great neighbors, and at a good price for the area."
