"A month ago we applied at Shore Manag (appt lease) paying a $40 fee (San Diego, CA). No response, despite my emailing to them and even calling them/leaving messages in their answering machine. UPDATE: Last week Shore Manag returned the $40. I now revise my review from 1 to 3 stars, since still they have made no effort to call us or suggest any apartment for lease..."
"Does nothing to control bad tenants. Tenant across the alley from our buildings runs construction equipment all day and often past 7pm -- and even on Sundays. No control. Look elsewhere for your property management needs. They are clearly amateurs in contract law and could care less about upkeep on the properties they manage and have no regard for those around the properties they "manage" --- just in it for money."
"When you move out because they have increased the rent by 15%, Shore will keep your deposit by charging you for: 1) carpet cleaning (even though we leave shoes at the door/wear indoor slippers, and are OCD medical doctors), 2) repainting even when there are no paint damages and we have only lived there one year, 3) missing tub stoppers when there was never any to begin with when we moved in, etc in order to keep your deposit. They also don’t respect their tenants and will ask to show the apartment to others while you’re still living there."
"I have been renting with Shore for 12 years now. When an owner decided to sell the unit I was in last year Shore found me a new place to rent and really helped me out in a tough rental market. They have always been fair with me and given me great support. The owner Justin is a great guy and everyone there has been great to work with. I highly Recommend contacting Shore for your rental or Management needs. Thank you shore."
