"My mother and sister live here. They are forever having parking problems. If management did not rent 8 adults to a 2 bedroom apartment there wouldn't be 5 plus vehicles taking up parking space. Should only be 2 vehicles max and non operating vehicles need to be towed and junked for scrap! Why do people insist on keeping junk cars when living in a apartment?? If management enforced parking permits and towed cars like they use to 6 years ago, parking would be better. Anyone can park inside the gated parking without a permit. This is why there is no parking! Highland creek needs to demo all the termite eaten wood covered parking spots and replace them with this!"
"Upon move-in we were welcomed warmly by staff, disregarding the fact that it had taken up multiple attempts to schedule a time to get our keys. Over the course of the year that I lived her the staff responded to none of my emails and we had only one or two maintenance requests fulfilled. Move out was when the problems began. We gave appropriate notice of our move-out date and we were never contacted by management regarding any move-out procedures. Again, it took us multiple attempts (phone calls & emails) to figure out where to even leave our keys. We requested a walkthrough and they declined. After we followed their instructions to "leave the keys on the counter," we received out move-out statement with absurd charges that we have pictures proving are false. I am entirely convinced that we were denied a walkthrough so that they could keep our security deposit. It has been 8 months since our move out and we have yet to receive a check. It took me almost 3 months to hear back from Alejandra regarding out move-out statement, and my dispute (citing sections from our lease that they violated) was met with no understanding and she refused to provide any rationale for the charges. At this time, we have still not even the original refund amount we were supposed to receive. Any positive aspects of my time at Highland Creek have been 100% overruled by dealing with difficult and deceitful management, specifically Alejandra, for the past 8 months."
"I love it now. disregard my last comment a year ago. I love it here now. Its very cool and Alejandra is the best. Parking is fine now. And they let us upgrade and downgrade. That's the best. love it love it love Highland creek forever and ever."
"The only reason we are moving from these apartments is because we are moving from the area, otherwise we would stay! It's right across the street from shopping and restaurants, can walk to almost anything you need. Well maintained inside and out. Staff is super responsive and friendly. Landscaping and large balconies are great. Only cons for us would be parking and noise. On the weekend and at night it's impossible to find parking in the lot and you often have to park far away on the street. You hear the Disney fireworks every night at 9:30pm whether your windows are open or closed and there is a lot of traffic noise from the busy street and freeway nearby. You get used to the noise, but if you're sensitive to noise it might be an issue."
"Love it. Only thing I really really hate is the rent increase every year and parking problems. I have to pay extra for a extra parking space.!!!. I am looking into moving to a NON management place.!!!!"
